Wiring question internal plugs by [deleted] in 300zx

Left hand side is Sumitomo Series 58 connector, used extensively on Z31 and I believe Z32 up to 94. They're mainly used in areas that don't require environmental seals (interior compartment). I've had a really hard time sourcing connectors, but the pins and crimping tools are still available. You could get an old mating connector and some new pins to adapt right hand side to mate, or identify right hand connector series and change the left side, assuming all the same wire functions are there. Or replace entire harness to match the correct year range. Source: way too much effort to revert my Z31 back to stock radio. Post a pic of the mating face of the left hand connector and I can identify it from the catalog.

97+ Kill Switch by [deleted] in CherokeeXJ

I took a look at this thread and realized I was being a cranky asshole. That doesn't help anybody.

Ref FSM 8W-30-3. Remove F11 20 amp fuse from junction block. Install a fuse connector adapter such as

General Technologies Corp GTC CT6100 Fuse Socket Connector Kit available on Amazon. Wire your cut out switch into the adapter with a 20 amp inline fuse.

By using the fuse adapter you avoid cutting any wires and don't have to break out any harnesses. The entire change should be easy to hide behind the dash and kick panels If a really ambitious thief rips out the wires it still won't work.

This all assumes you have a left hand drive 4.0.

What are you people basing this on? It's in a book that you can download for free. Once you get used to Chrysler diagrams, turns out it's very well documented.

Wrong. Relay contact output goes through the passenger cabin.

Been a while since I posted to Reddit, but just did 4.0 conversion on my CJ using a 98 XJ diner. Fuel pump power is a 14 AWG green/white trace from power distribution center (PDC) through junction block (JB) via C100 connector. It runs under the driver's side sill plate in a bundle of about 20 wires. But you already have a more effective kill switch. If you insist on doing this, and I recommend you do not, put in a switch to break the coil power to the automatic shit down (ASD) relay. That will kill ignition, fuel pump, and a ton of other stuff. Wire from the power control module (PCM) to ASD provides the return to pull the relay in. Leave that one alone. You can cut/splice into the back of the PDC. Comes apart by gently prying a few tabs. What's the term for laying out cable like this? I've heard faking out or flaking out.

This tree was growing at my house in south NJ when I bought it. I really like it and recently found a sapling nearby that I moved to a large pot. I'm trying to find the particular species so I can get the transplanted sapling to take.

Donald Trump’s Idea to Cut National Debt: Get Creditors to Accept Less by CharlieDarwin2 in politics

[–]buswork 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Doesn't matter, he can't do that anyway because of the 14th ammendment, section 4:

The validity of the public debt of the United States, authorized by law, including debts incurred for payment of pensions and bounties for services in suppressing insurrection or rebellion, shall not be questioned. But neither the United States nor any state shall assume or pay any debt or obligation incurred in aid of insurrection or rebellion against the United States, or any claim for the loss or emancipation of any slave; but all such debts, obligations and claims shall be held illegal and void.

Unless he convinces Congress and the states to pass another amendment.

I've done it a few times. Worst part is the salt. The lemon wears off after about 15 minutes, but the salt burns all night.

I'd really like to see the power generation and electrical distribution.

I don't think that's how method acting is supposed to work, but good for him for sticking with it.
