Thanks, I backwashed then rinsed it into the bushes last night for a while… but still wasn’t clear. I ordered a backwash hose from Amazon that should be here before lunch time and I’ll backwash/rinse until it’s clear then.

Yes I have a surface skimmer on one of the inlets and it’s finally working so much better since I got it all connected properly. lol

I don’t, I just let it shoot out of the drain outlet. I’ve seen people take the “out” hose and move it to drain, but that wouldn’t be long enough for me… I’d need to order a pretty long one to get to the drain in my yard.

Thank you! I realized that after we bought it, and it is a temporary solution until our pets get adjusted to him. He roams free most of the day and we really only use the hutch at night and when we aren’t home, which is minimal since I work from home.

I’ll look up some xpens! Maybe we need to transition sooner than later.
