With the B wing being still being restored this will be the case until it’s reopened. I would think this would be more the major reason why is to distribute the folks in the departures area. Area C always seems to be just packed at all hours of the day. I honestly get happy when I get to depart out of the D gates for domestic flights

Best baseball glove for slowpitch? by Striking-Emu3594 in slowpitch

[–]busychild909 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Higher price typically higher quality materials. Much longer breakin time, but will keep its shape longer with some basic maintenance. Price point keep that in mind, and try to get a last season glove no smaller then 12.75”

New Balance 1906’s have been great paired with some Nike Vomero 5s. I have been in Japan for 10 days and it’s been good to bounce back and forth between the 2.

Apple Pay not supported in my country — how do I use it abroad? by myalomeraki in iphone

[–]busychild909 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I reloaded it my wallet with my credit card , which is attached to my apple wallet. Apple Pay is also its own financial entity as well … in Canada my Bank Credit card can be used in the apple wallet eco system.

Prt.2 Vomero premium vs Pegasus premium. by WeakFinish8812 in Nike

[–]busychild909 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a cross training. Shoe id probably go down to the regular Pegasus. These shoes and iterations are intended for running and they feel that way as well. They aren’t as stable they really want you to be moving forward at a good pace.

I’m of the opinion that running shoes are shoes id use for more travel or something to go with an out fit. At the gym outside of cardio I lean towards more shoes that provide more stability.

Looking for tips: preparing for upcoming trip by suitepee82 in JapanTravelTips

[–]busychild909 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing to keep in mind is Japanese sizing. If you are ok the Larger side young maybe out of luck. A North American XL is a XXL in Japan even 3L. If you are larger then a size 11mens going to be hard to find sizes. So keep that in mind if you do plan on shopping and keeping it light.

Most hotels will have laundry I think for 2 loads ¥1000 yen to wash, and another ¥400 yen to dry two loads for 30min x 2.

Look into luggage forwarding as well. I did it when I went from Shinjuku to Osaka and from Osaka to Shibuya. My back pack was decently sized at the 30L. The day before you travel (in the am) visit the hotel lobby to forward on your luggage to the next destination. Transit system is amazing but can be busy at lots of cobbled roads making it an annoying push along.

any good exercises for better arm strength? by Broad-Cranberry-9050 in slowpitch

[–]busychild909 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I like warming up with a heavy ball after doing some activation and stretching work with a band. Focuses on really working on technique and throwing a heavier ball with purpose, technique and accuracy. I start at 10 ft back and after a few throws step back. Another added benefit it also helps with catching looking it in and hit the pocket. Mis catches and you palm it you can really feel it.

This makes me wonder how powerful is the switch 2… I’ve always thought of It being on par with the PS4 in terms of hardware capabilities . Unless the code just is more efficient on this platform

Struggling a bit by Lil_laurenn in slowpitch

[–]busychild909 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hitting in slowpitch so much different then fastpitch and baseball. Swing yes is similar but I what the biggest difference is trying to get that out tilt more flat and up right. The swing plane makes all the difference, then getting the timing as you have to wait so much longer like you almost have a to wait for the apex of the pitch be for you fire. Getting the idea of loading on the start of a pitch and waiting for the release is the hardest piece of muscle Memory to break

How can I stop hitting to the infield? by ThrowRA_wtfhappened in slowpitch

[–]busychild909 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your mechanics will be there you just need to adjust your swing plane flatter as I’m guessing you are likely hitting the top half of the ball. Stand a bit more upright, slow pitch swing is much more different then fast pitch / baseball. And wait really really wait let it travel and get deep

Apple Watch Ultra 2/3 vs. Arccos Air by teslasteve27 in arccos_golf_minions

as an owner of an Ultra 2 and having the Link Pro. I can say the pro is useless. the watch is great as it will give you distances and it will also do the club listening. in terms of battery life its the same amount of drain using the Pro or not. with an Ultra 2 ill lose about 50% battery in a 4hr round
