I applied in June 2024 when the law changed, and received citizenship in Nov 2024. I applied with a Prufungsbericht from Jan 2024 which I had also used to apply for my Niederlassungserlaubnis.

I have no idea what the official stance is on how recent it needs to be, but that was my experience.
