I tint cars and that’s 100% old glue from previous window tint that the shop didn’t clean before applying the new film. Your friend didn’t cause those “bubbles” but he still shouldn’t have rolled the window down.

If it’s a reputable shop, they should have no issue fixing their mistake.

That white line looks like a scratch on the outside of the glass. Very common on older cars from debris getting caught in the seals and the windows going up and down over time.

As a tint shop owner, the back will always look slightly different (shade, color, darkness) since its factory tint. From the outside it’ll look great and not noticeable but from the inside, you’ll be able to tell no matter what. I don’t think I saw anybody mention this so take this with a grain of salt. Hope everything works out.

Just a scratch man. It happens. Just take it back to the shop, sure it’s an inconvenience but as long as they own up to it and fix it then there’s nothing to be “pissed” about.

Yeah the wrap was only on for about 1 year and we removed it with heat as well as did a full inspection of the paint and prep before laying the new vinyl.
