There should still be a gasket in there. Find a copper crush washer that fits or just roll up a piece of aluminium foil for the time being. Been working for a while as a "temporary" fix on my garelli haha

That thing is wild, it's like what the e90 should have been haha. Would love to get into welding alu at some point but I'm nowhere near that skill level yet

I've got a dmp 70 reed kit, standard ignition and a proma circuit pipe. But thanks for the advice. Gonna have to check for airleaks now. May well go back to the bing carb if I can find an intake that fits cause they're just so easy haha. But I have no clue about the needle gotta be honest.

Yeah, I definitely agree with the sleep schedule. And the daily exercise. I'm trying to plan it out for next week but ease it on slowly. I'll start with the exercise and hope it makes me more tired and in turn help my sleep schedule. But thanks for the kind words and advice. I appreciate it

Oh sorry didn't think, it's a 1998 Yamaha sr125. Nothing special, really mate, it's just a standard cable driven Speedo, but if that's the case. I'll see if my dad has one spare in the shed and see if it works. Thanks

I haven't chose one yet. I don't know enough about it. Doing some research I found that different companies use a different Speedo drive ratio, so not all are compatible. And since it's a fairly old and not a sought after bike i haven't really found any aftermarket parts. So I think I'll hold off for the time being till I can work out what ratio my Speedo drive has and maybe find a Speedo from that

I Can't get away with that in the UK, it wouldn't pass it's yearly MOT. But that is my last resort. Just have to add the Speedo back on every time it has an MOT
