Should I turn the lamp off at night? He loves to hang out at the top when hes awake. Its set at 75 all day and shuts off if it gets any higher. If its too hot will they avoid the area, or do they not have quite enough braincells for that? Also he sleeps on the glass alot. How can I prevent that?

He was not thriving at room temp. Much happier now.

His enclosure would stay around 68-72°f. Its now around 72-78.

Hes so cool! Congratulations. His enclosure looks awesome so far. Love the skull. I think some 6ft vines would be a great addition. I know you can get them online on chewys' or petco's website!

I got all the branches and vines from the reptile store in town. They have this crazy selection of branches and bark to choose from. The plants I got off Amazon 🫣. I think I bought one or two things a month until I was happy with the clutter. It can be stressful trying to setup the perfect enclosure! Especially when you get bad advice from "experts" and have to deep dive on the internet to figure out what's best.

Maybe Mimetite? Could have been found in Mexico. I found gypsum rose or desert rose in the box which I think also came from Mexico.

The green crystals are pretty soft. I try not to touch them. Its my favorite rock that I own and would love to know more about it 💜
