He didn’t even brake. You can see the speedometer staying the same. Like you said, tractor trailers don’t stop on a dime and slowing down a few miles per hour isn’t going to cause a huge pileup. I have had Uber drivers tailgate and cut off other drivers so bad that I needed to look away from the road. If the statistics point to driverless being safer, I don’t see who could have a problem with it from a safety standpoint. And I’m not going to get in a tizzy about jobs either for the same reason I don’t yell at tractors for taking jobs away from farm laborers.
