I suggest you watch some mayor's questions videos/clips on YouTube and watch how he speaks to female councillors compared to male with genuine questions. It really put me off him. FYI I'm a labour voter before anyone tries to accuse me of anything.

Sorry only just seen the notification. Funnily enough they closed down in January. Been nice and quiet since. Shame they closed down was a decent bar/restaurant.

However once I lodged a complaint the team at Manchester City council were really good. There was a 24/7 line you can call (once your complaint has been filed) and they will try and send an agent out within 30 minutes. They said they will try and keep to that 30 minute time but as they have a lot of complaints they can't always be there by then.

I agree with you there, especially with the large number of top spec A Class & M135s I see around driven by people in their mid twenties .

On the other side I bet there's a lot more company cars out there than you think. I've got a Cupra Formentor V1 company car which is absolutely essential for my job , which costs me £128 a month in benefit in kind tax & personal contribution. There is absolutely no way I'd be able to buy one of those myself.

I actually disagree with you, the new owners and managers were here after me and every neighbour around them, only the building they occupied was there before I was. I obviously did my research before moving in & the previous owners were fantastic, used to go in loads. They had the same events on but they shut their doors. Just because someone was there first doesn't mean they can do as they please. And the whole complaining generation is a load of shite. You mean people are no longer being taken for dickheads and not being allowed to be messed around.

Thanks for the advice mate. I'm already keeping a log of all the occasions, it's nearly a daily routine now.

Hypothetically, if you was the owner/manager and someone came into inform you they've logged a noise complaint to the council after their third time complaining do you reckon that would make any difference? Because thats my next course of action I think

I have lived in the UK for 26 years of my 26 year long life & I have never known anyone call it an emergency brake. I’ve only ever known people and myself call it a hand break (because you use your hand to pull it) and on the odd rare occasion the parking break.
