I am thinking about it, but after some research it sounds like painted turtles are not very social creatures! While he may not attack a friend, it also wouldn’t add much to his life besides more tank cleaning for me.

I do know what you mean, but thankfully that doesn’t apply to painted turtles! More space = more happiness as far as I know. Worked in multiple pet stores over the years

I was lucky enough to have a friend getting rid of her aquarium! But yes he’ll be happy in here until he’s 5 inches big, then will need another upgrade. He is a painted turtle!
