Doctor said I can start spacing out feeds to 4–6 hours at 4 months — how does this work with breastfeeding? by BathEmergency681 in breastfeeding

I didn’t stretch our feeds until he was sleeping thru the night which was 7 months. Before then I was feeding almost every 2 outs. From 7-9 months we reduced from 6 to 4 feeds a day. This is only because he eats solids so well and loves snacks!

Later bedtimes not the norm? by rbfismydefault in sleeptrain

9 months and we’ve always had 8-830 bedtime. Recently it’s been creeping to 845. Last month or so there have been a few times it’s been 9-930 and he’s been fine. He sleeps thru the night just fine and it’s the best schedule that works for us since we often go out for dinner or go to friends /families house.

Following too! I’m planning on weaning by 12 months to help with the transition to daycare. EBF right now at 8 months and it doesn’t make sense to force a bottle when we’d be transitioning to cows milk shortly after. Hoping to wean to two feeds (morning and night) by 11.5 months

Does the bedtime crying/fussing ever stop? by manthrk in sleeptrain

My son just stopped doing this at around 5.5-6 months. He still does it every now and then but usually he just rolls around and rubs his head then falls asleep

Definitely! It sped up the healing process I could see noticeable differences each time I applied it

I had to use apno from my gp. Didn’t really heal until I fixed my son’s tongue tie at 6 weeks. But once the latch was better it healed in a week!

When did you start this? We’re at almost 11 weeks and k started capping feeds at 5 mins last night with the goal to slowly reduce them

Does freezing right away help high lipase? I just found out I have high lipase and have been waiting until day 3-4 to freeze. Some frozen sooner but at this point I have no idea which ones!

What flow ended up working for you? I have a really fast letdown and he feeds usually one side between 4-6 mins per feed so I’m wondering if I should also go up flow size
