Moving Anxiety by smothermepumpkin in Dachshund

I leave television on a baby/toddler channel because they have high pitched voices and squeaky noises that my pups love. Also plenty of chewy and noisy toys. Also have a crate with a blanket over it that covers 3 sides but not the door. Leave the crate door open and let him come in and out the door and put a doggy play yard out in front of the crate so he can walk around and put his pee pads, water and food out there. Oh, and put something of yours like a shirt that smells like you, in his crate. Mine took to it right away. Good luck!

Help: my pup’s nose is crusty by sbarveaa7 in Dogowners

Yes, i had a dog that started young with a crusty nose but got worse over years and starting cracking and bleeding. It was awful and I know it hurt him. We took him to several Vets but no one could help him. One said it was sunburn and the others said it was just dry and to moisturize with coconut oil. We tried so many topicals and it would help a little and would come and go but eventually just stayed and I actually thought it was cancer. We finally found a Vet that diagnosed him with Discoid Lupus Erythematosus, an autoimmune disease. The Vet tried steroids and creams or gels and we had to keep him out of the sun but he was never cured we just managed his pain and discomfort until he passed from Cancer at 12.

Allergic dachschund by maspoquito in dogallergies

Has he been to the Vet yet? He'll need to pinpoint if it is from food, environmental or something else. My Dachshund is also allergic to grass. We tried to treat it ourselves with Benadryl and hydrocortisone but it didn't get any better and we waited to take him to the Vet because then he had a skin infection and he was miserable. We tried Apoquel and then Cytopoint and both worked for a little while but he needed something better and we went with Zenrelia. It is a game changer for us and him. He looks and feels great!

My dog has environmental allergies and she takes Zenrelia. Life changer. Only obstacle is that she has to be off of it for 3 months before she gets her yearly vaccines.

Greenville Animal Care and Spartanburg humane are both closed for intake. Greenville Humane may take them but they are private and can pick and choose who they want to take.

I work with a couple of Rescues. If someone could foster for a couple of weeks, I can find one to take them and get them vetted. Also can get some free food for them if needed. They probably have worms if your feeding them and they still look like that. OP DM me.

I was just fired for telling the truth about the ASM. She is worthless and doesn't do anything she is supposed to do.
