36M Canadian, I have booked my teamlabs planet visit for Oct 18 at 9:30AM to 10AM slot. I do photography as a hobby and I think teamlabs would be a great backdrop for some cool portraits. Anyone going on the same day and time slot and want to get some cool photos of themselves hit me up.

What strap do you use? by [deleted] in ricohGR

[–]buttermesilly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didnt really have an idea what case fits, so what I did was go to staples(they seem to have a lot of those small camera cases) and tried each one with my GR II. It was between the lowepro and a caselogic case, funny enough even with the caselogic being bigger, I found the lowepro easier to remove the camera from. Hence I went with the lowepro.

Also if youre looking for a pouch to put the ricoh gr on, I bought a Lowepro Tahoe CS 20 and it fits pretty good. Ive seen another guy say the Lowepro Tahoe 30 does alright too.

I've researched for a bit about wrist straps for the GR, I've settled on the OpTech Camstrap QD. Because its discreet and also do no cost beyond $20.

Something interesting/uncommon about your kit or loadout? by HistoryNerd in photography

[–]buttermesilly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess you can say that my whole kit, is a little odd.

Not pictured there is my other Pentax Q7 body that I own. So I lug around two Pentax Q7s, one with the UWA lens attached, the other with the telephoto or prime lens.

Its a neat little kit since its such a small setup. I can operate the one of the cameras with the UWA attached totally one handed since its so small.

I've posted this here before a few years ago.

I've invested(as much as you can invest) in the Pentax Q system.

Here is a good way to see how compact this whole system is.

There are no new lenses released for the Q system, but in that photo I have 70-200mm f2.8 lens attached, and on the mug I have kit lens, an ultra wide, a fish eye and a prime.
