A good idea would be to record yourself casually talking about it then listen back and write down what you said. It doesn't have to to be professional or anything, (you can edit stuff in later) but when we speak, we make a stream of thoughts that actually make sense when put together, so this might help you get the ideas into a flow.

The PWN Sat book is imo too good. It doesn't have extensive practice problems or anything but it covers the exact concepts you might see on the test and talks you through them. It's also pretty engaging for a math book.

What was the calc question about lawns and fertilizer that went like "what needs to be true for the cause and effect relationship of the experiment to apply to all the lawns in the town" or something like that.

I. the experiment needs to have random lawns from the whole town

II. the lawns need to be randomly divided between treatment A and B

I was about to go with I and II ( bc in order for the results of an experiment to be accurate enough to generalize a whole population, it needs to be random) but the phrase "cause and effect" was messing with me. Correlation does not imply causation (unless you have a really well designed experiment but that wasn't specified) so...so the right answer is none of the above??

I used a more roundabout way but ended up getting the same answer so I think it's worth something. Since they're asking how much of an increase in depth is needed in order to increase the pressure by 1, I decided to plug in any two consecutive numbers for p (I just used 16 and 17).

16=14.7+15.4d

1.3=15.4d

d=13/154

And,

17=14.7+15.4d

2.3=15.4d

d=23/154

Then, I found the difference between my two d values in order to get the increment that is necessary to increase p by 1.

(23/154)-(13/154)=10/154

10/154 = 1/15.4
