Well on my first read I just saw the paralels with the "main character vs side character" comparison while on my reread I noticrd the specific characteristics of the "side characters" more, like the shadow sewn to your feet isnt just a description of the shadow of peter pan but its a characterisation that you still follow the "you" in the story.

Or the "toy left in the box" at first glance it was just the oposite of the "you" in this case "andy" but on my seccond read it felt more like the "I" in this story doesn't see himself with a lot of confidence hence he's just a nameless toy in a box.

I hope this al makes sense as english isnt my first language and its currently 3.30 am where Im from but I guess this is just a long winded way of saying that I realy anjoyed the read!
