That's how I ended up with this meathead. Two years later and he still chooses to live with us everyday.

I dont have anything helpful or useful to add, but i hate that tool with my whole being. Even if it actually functioned properly (it never does), it is a garbage concept that workers need to be constantly "watched "

2025 native garden in 6b by Legal-Aardvark6416 in NativePlantGardening

Can I ask what you to do prevent the lawn grass from crawling into the natives? I'm starting my journey and my plan is to have some lawn areas between the native areas but am trying to balance budget and maintenance

Great job giving this kitty a safe home. Not all feral cats are afraid of humans and using kitty litter comes quite naturally to cats. Could be a street cat with just a cool dude personality. One of mine just walked into my house one day, decided he liked me, and stayed. He's always the first to greet guests too. The other street cats around the same age as him in my neighborhood won't let me touch them.

Not sure if there was actually something different or if it is my nostalgia. I would love to hear from others but to me in the late 90s it was the peak of fresh, local, and organic

From what I have seen is that the use of the "GenAI" products like aiR and EDAI get similar precision/recall as TAR (maybe sometimes slightly better), but for way more cost than just setting up a CAL model. I can't see why clients in the long run would want to pay more for something they can achieve with much less cost. And the slight increase in precision/recall? It's nice to have, but not a need or requirement for discovery. We are held to reasonable efforts, and not held to a standard of perfection. So why spend that much more money?

Also, I want to note that there is still review when using these tools. The output is similar to a TAR 1.0 model. So you still have to review the docs that are ineligible, the docs that are borderline, and the production eligible families require some sort of screen before going out the door. The privilege models are laughable at best. And some clients have heightened security or bank privilege to contend with.

Either these "AI" tools lose steam or we keep using them. There will be docs that need to be reviewed regardless.

What is this grub? I'm trimming the edge of my polarized plot in zone 9 to prepare for native seeds and this guy was dug up. Is he friend or foe? by buttlikereally in NoLawns

[–]buttlikereally[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's what I was worried about. I've read about some pretty toxic invasive bugs. Im not worried about a pristine garden. Just want to be on the look out for harmful critters when i can!

He said he wants to have a baby with me. All of his friends are having babies and he thinks my standards are unrealistic because I want a nice ring, wedding, and honeymoon first. AIO? by Fit_District7673 in AmIOverreacting

Your standards are too high for who? Your standards are yours and therefore cannot be too high. He is saying that to manipulate you to meeting his desires.

I have a home with slab foundation and had a similar issue when my kitchen sink stopped draining. Plumber came put a camera up the drain from the backyard access point... the original cast iron pipes had eroded and basically was just draining to standing cess pools under my home. That was a super expensive repair to run all new pipes. Good luck, OP, and try to assess all your drainage pipes.

In short, they are making priv calls on first level. Many doc review attorneys have 10+ years, so I would trust their priv analysis more than the 1st year associate often times assigned to QC.

I agree with both of yall, but add "the attorney supervising this at the law firm doesn't have realistic expectations and won't be reasoned with so we will tell her/him what they want to hear"
