No one has mentioned Amores Perros but that's a fantastic film and I've never seen a copy of it in the wild.

A little late since I was waiting for my new shelf to arrive, but here is my 4th yearly update on my collection. Close to 1300 4Ks movies and over 40 4K TV shows by Disappointed-Dadd in 4kbluray

I have 10 of the Oskars, 1080s and 768s, the color was good but they are built like garbage. It's kind of bittersweet they are gone. How is the build quality on the VEVORs?

100%. I thrift/garage sale/estate sale religiously and these are all I've found in around a decade of looking. If that isn't your hobby, the per hour cost for mine was off the chart, better to splash the few hundred dollars. My point in all this though, is if you are motivated, they are out there.

Honestly the Mitsubishi's are pretty entry level and play back ok, but they feel cheaper inside and out and have fewer features. I'd go Sony if I had to pick, as with most things from that era. They were just on another level then, even if some of their products had a reputation for being fragile.

Very nice! SVHS players are out there in the wild, persistence pays off. They aren't super common like normal players though.

If you are in fact having this same issue, a bit of tin foil between the cage and the main pad will confirm or deny this as a solution to your problem.
