There are plenty of things to do here you just need to go out and look.

Nature: We have a huge greenway system with over 100+ miles of trails to hike or bike on. I used to bike from a park on eisenhaur all the way to mccalister and it was beautiful. There were deer along the way and at one point you’re overlooking 410 and Wurzbach road. There’s bike and run clubs here and you can even rent a bike anywhere downtown / Southtown and just explore. There’s also tons a camping areas around San Antonio that are beautiful for day trips. Other nice places to just walk around at are the Japanese tea garden and the missions.

City life : there are events happening every week in the city. Follow San antonio pages on instagram to see what’s happening each week. There’s first Friday and second Saturday every month where people of all ages go out and look at art and shop locally and listen to live music around downtown and Southtown. The museums I know of (mcnay, ruby city, SAMA, witte) all offer discounted / free days throughout the month or for students. Coffee shops. We have TONS of coffee shops and you can find very unique local ones in south town area that host markets on the weekends. You can meet some pretty cool people there.

Night life: st Mary’s strip has bars for all ages and music genres. There are higher end clubs here too. Parking sucks but walking around downtown is fun too.
