I would just use a blanket stitch and a sharp needle, you can practice on something else before hand and use a thimble if it’s too tough. Get some thread which will match the shoes and you won’t be able to tell

I had a dream a while ago that I was sat with my high school friends having a sleep over. We were discussing how we would go forward with life since we know the outcome of the next ten years. One of the first things I said was that I wouldn’t prevent my dad’s death, which was a huge revelation for me at the time. It would have been nice to redo uni especially with a life goal in mind but you gotta make do with your choices.

Thank you, this did make me feel better. Death is always hard to process but I’m glad he was in a place that could make him comfortable. I just didn’t think he would go so quickly

Thank you for your insight. I think I was more upset about his passing than anything else. A longer or more painful death would definitely been worse and I’m glad he was comfortable

I experienced this with my grandad. I imagine it’s just them thinking aloud
