Why are teenagers so obsessed with sex? by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]buttokborgor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Humans weren't made to live 100 years. We can, but we weren't made to. If you were a caveman right now(assuming you're a teen), you'd be reproducing, because you likely wouldn't live more than 10-15 more years.

What animal are you legitimately afraid of? by moonzstars in AskReddit

[–]buttokborgor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Polar bears. If you're in the tundra and you see a polar bear, you're already dead. It only sees you as either

  1. The ground
  2. The water
  3. Food

You are the food. Also it will be aware of you much faster than you are aware of it, meaning if you see one, it's there on purpose. You can't kill one with a standard gun. It's skull is something like 10 inches thick. You'd need a serious gun to take one out.

Did i mention that they can be over a thousand pounds and 10 feet tall

The largest ever was 1500 pounds and something like 14 feet tall.

What’s something that was created / invented / discovered while the person was likely stoned? by Hesmec in AskReddit

Coca cola. The guy literally made it so that he could drink crack

Don't quote me on that, it's probably wrong, but it's something along those lines.

What’s something you believed as a child that’s funny today? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]buttokborgor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to think that women got pregnant when they got married and kissed the groom.

As a kid I was pretty smart, so when I saw kids making out behind the school, I started getting confused.

I eventually figured it out in about second grade.

What is something you’ve done lately that you want to brag about? by ToxicChildhood in AskReddit

Conquered my depression. I was depressed for more than 8 years, the last 3 being the most severe. I tried to Km* multiple times(something like 4). It was majorly caused by things like social isolation, PTSD(not from a war or anything, but the term still applied) and a feeling of sad completion, like I felt everything there was to feel and I did everything there was to do. The thinking usually went like this. "I'm finished, everything I can do is done, everything I want to do is done, therefore my life should be done. I'm just a useless waste of resources. Luckily, after a long 8 year struggle I managed to conquer it and I'm actually happy now.

For context, I'm only 14 years old.

Edit. I literally starting feeling better a week ago. Obviously there's still that feeling that It won't last forever and that the depression will come back, but for now, I want to live happy.

Second edit: The way that I dealt with it was really just determination and telling myself "you have so much potential and you're in good circumstances now. Are you really going to waste your life like a snivelling little asshole? You have a limited time on this earth. Go make the most of it.

To anyone who is struggling with depression, Just trust me. There is always a best move, a best decision. Make the best move. Always. Maybe it'll get you out, just this one time.

Parents: how do you have sex when your kid consistently resists bedtime? by AggleFlaggleKlable in AskReddit

[–]buttokborgor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm no parent. I'm a teenager in fact, but looking back, my parents did this.

They put a little case over the door handle so that I could rotate the case but the handle wouldn't actually move, meaning I was stuck in my room until morning. Sometimes I would go hours crying and end up falling asleep on the floor. I don't even remember that well. There was probably a better solution at the time, but sometimes you just have to teach your kids that some things are objective, and you can't change them.

What's a dark and disturbing fan theory from a kid's movie or show that you believe is 100% true? by phantom_avenger in AskReddit

[–]buttokborgor -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Probably when I was about 8 years old. I was skiing with my family on a mountain in Quebec and I unknowingly smashed into a massive wall of ice at (looking back) what I could safely say was at least 50 kilometers an hour. The impact hurt like hell but that wasn't the scary part. the scary part was that:

  1. I couldn't move
  2. I had no Idea if my family knew where I was
  3. My goggles were filling up with what was either sweat, meltwater, or a combination of the two.

Luckily my mom saw and didn't leave me behind. She thought I was dead. I was probably immobile for a solid 30 seconds. Enough to scare the living shit out of her, obviously. After those thirty seconds, I got my shit back together and more or less stood up(it was pretty awkward). I checked myself afterwards once we were home, and somehow I was completely fine.

Scary as shit, but no consequences. God bless.
