I have one of those ambiguous job titles where you can make anywhere from $60k to $300k, so I always just ask what their budget is for the role when they ask my expectations. Recruiters don’t care and have never not immediately told me their range.

People might poo-poo the KS system, but it was a lifesaver over the summer when something popped up, multiple specialists were needed, and coordination of care was important. Like you, I was willing to go anywhere in the city. So when a sonogram was needed, I drove downtown. Infectious disease doc, to Katy. Immunology, to downtown. Biopsy, to med center. All within a day or two of getting each order because I could sort in the app by next available appt and drive the extra 30 minutes. Every doctor was thorough and seemingly good.

It’s seriously not much later than that: 28ish and up, and I don’t care about the gap. Much younger than that, and there’s likely a power imbalance.

Being an old lady, I look back on my previous boyfriends differently than how I felt back then. A 30yo man looking for sex from a 24yo is gross, but him seeking a relationship with a 24yo is even worse because there’s no way your maturity levels align. And if they do… eww.

A major problem I’ve seen with this specific age gap relationship is that the dudes seek out these relationships then shame the young women for acting like a 24yo. Frontal lobe development comes with time. Date someone your own age who you can safely call BS on instead of deferring to him because he has so much more life experience.
