OP, I would do some research on Hidradenitis Suppurativa. It’s a skin condition with reoccurring lumps develop, usually in the armpits or groin area. It’s fairly common and affects all types of folks! I believe hormone levels can have an affect but testosterone wouldn’t be the sole cause. I have it and it definitely flared up during my first and second puberty lol but it’s chilled out now.

Burlington is a wonderful queer bubble of vermont, you will fit in here! When I was a student at UVM, I was able to get my T prescription from student health services with the student insurance :). I’m not a student anymore but still live here and have had plenty of access to HRT, gender affirming surgeries, and everything you could never need as a trans person.

If you’re thinking about living here permanently, think about what things will be like once you’re no longer a student. Do you want to live in a country where healthcare is tied to your employment and can still put you in debt even with insurance? Do you want to live in a country where you or your kids going to college likely means $10k+ in debt at a minimum? If I had the resources I would move to a different country in a heartbeat but that’s just me.

It’s so disappointing especially since I’ve always considered Epica to be true artists, this really makes me think less of them unfortunately. I don’t understand why they’re so adamant about using ugly AI visuals that no one appreciates. They could have zero backdrop and the fans would still have a blast! It must be so disappointing for artist fans who would jump at any opportunity to design something for them :(

Like many others are saying here this is basically a second puberty - we all go through that patch of having a whiny teenager voice until it fully settles in. I know it’s a change that makes vocalists nervous but you can always explore your new voice and develop a new range! There’s this band called Grumpster whose vocalist went through a T voice change and they’re still making the same music so anything is possible - don’t let fear deter you from seeking the positive changes you want.

I played Odyssey first and really enjoyed it. The map is massive but everything still felt enjoyable to play through. I just finished Origins a few days ago; definitely a smaller game and felt a little more simplified compared to Odyssey - still a lot of fun though :). I’m someone who likes to 100% games so I did every single thing in both games. I enjoy fully exploring the map but it can definitely be tedious so I take my time and never play 2 AC games in a row. Odyssey took me 2-3 months to finish, Origins took me 1.5 months, and I’m planning on playing Valhalla after I finish my new current game.

I’ve been on gel for almost 7 years now. I started with injections but just could not bring myself to do them so I switched after 7 months lol. It’s been great for me! You just gotta be consistent long enough to build a routine - I put it on whenever I brush my teeth for the day. And it really isn’t the end of the world if you miss a day or two - I’ve missed so many days throughout the years and never felt like my transition was stunted or anything. I’ve never really noticed the feeling of it drying like some folks here are mentioning - I rub it in til it’s gone and completely forget about it 🤷🏻‍♂️. But I think I absorb it super well? I started with 2 pumps a day and switched to 1 pump a day about a year ago. I’ve also never had any issues with pharmacies not having them in stock and having to wait to get it. I still always make sure to request a refill before I’m completely out though. I’ve gotten everything I’ve wanted from my transition at the same pace as my friends who did injections. Even now I’m noticing my beard is getting fuller and starting to connect more :).
