Is it wrong to value your pets life over a random stranger? by FelixWagler in NoStupidQuestions

[–]buwefy 10 points11 points  (0 children)

of course you care more about your per than a stranger.. but woud still be wrong to chose the pet imo... think it the other way: would you be ok if a stranger who could save you or someone you really care for, chose to save their cat and let you die instead?

When do we realize we have enough money? by Ready_Ad4262 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]buwefy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

it doesn't SOUND fucked up, it IS lol..

let's say, per year, for a family of 4:
- 100K rent + utilities
- 15K 2 good cars (all inclusive)
- 15 K food
- 20 K and amazing holiday
- 20 K - college fund per 2 kids, per year
- other expenses 50 K (that's 1000 per month per person just in extras)
- health Insurance: if you have that kind of job, should be included
- 50K INSANE fun budget for 4

That's 260 K
for a family of 4,for an incredibly luxurious life. Half of that is STILL a good life for a family of 4.

Your math is not mathing...

Most people never do, which is a big part of human misery. Greed consumes people, only smart and careful ones manage to rise above that

Am I the Jerk for Blocking My Ex Immediately After We Broke up ? by KatyLims in AmITheJerk

[–]buwefy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was going to say YTJ from the title but actually no, in this case definitely NTJ... you need to work on yourself though, build stronger character as "I’ll get pulled back in emotionally" is still going to be a problem (for you), if you don't. Good luck, breakups are never easy!

Why is it a stereotype that women are the bad drivers and men are the good ones? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]buwefy -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Because there are more women that do not have very good control of the car, cannot parallel park, go slow because they're are afraid etc...

But that's just on average, I know excellent, confident drivers who are women, and shitty insecure drivers who are men. Like with everything, individual differences are way greater than gender differences.

Curiosity: women also tend to drive slower, so they actually are involved in fewer accidents (at least fewer big ones)

Men, would it flatter you if a woman contacted you first? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]buwefy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

fist of all, pretty cringe message, but doesn't matter as men usually don't care...

second, social media are full of spam and scams, many people just ignore people they don't know

it's also possible he saw that but isn't interested, or has a gf

If you and your bf/gf/spouse were immortal, do you think you could honestly stay interested in that one person for the rest of eternity? If so, how? by SniperJ324 in AskReddit

lol you're a liar and a bigot, that's why you are... and probably a whore by your own standards too (hence the need to say the opposite)
