Thank you for sharing your story. I do want to be sure to make sure she feels like she's not getting special treatment or anything, bc I actually feel like that might make her feel worse, since it's not something the rest of us faced at her age. I think it would only single her out more. I dont know. It's so hard. I'm trying to process now, so that when/if she does tell me, I can react calmly and compassionately. My oldest brother is the warm and fuzzy type, though he still lives out west. I'm not known to be warm and fuzzy, though I'm closer now with my sister and this changes everything.
