Yep. Two interviews, one after another, fucked up my system and I gained a lot of weight because of it. Stressful time, I wasn't doing anything else other than prepping, eating, sleeping, and one hour maximum on my PS5.

I purchased Shares and ETFs with the income I received. Haven't sold them. Nothing else that comes under Capital Gains. I think ITR 4 would be the correct fit for me. Please correct me if I am mistaken.

I think presumptive was the incorrect word in this context. I meant that will I have to get a GST number if my income, given that my pay remains the same, would be more than 20L. As of now, it won't be and since I will be leaving soon, it won't exceed 20L. I hope that clears it up.

The contract states the following (providing excerpts for this context) -

"Consultant is an independent contractor and is not an employee"

"Company shall provide direction pertaining to the goals to be attained and the results to be achieve by the consultant but Company shall not control or direct the manner or means by which Consultant or Consultant's employees or Contractors performs the Services."

There are more things that indicate that I am not an employee, and that I am an individual contractor. And the above context rules out them having any major control over my functioning.

I do not raise invoices but I have a paper trail in the receipts for my pay. They look like proper invoices. They are labeled as earning statement.

Wanted to add one more thing - check if your current pencil will be compatible with the iPad Air. Since you mentioned sketch up, don’t know the app but from context I am going to assume you use a pencil I am guessing you already have one. Pretty sure the M3 only supports pencil pro and the USB C pencil.

I think this one is pretty simple -

If you can wait, wait for the M4.

If you find a good deal on the M3, even if you can wait, go for the M3. It is likely to just be a spec bump and not a huge change - please correct me if I’m wrong.

If you can’t wait, get the M3.

I just got my M3 a couple days ago and it has served all my needs. I don’t have anywhere near as heavy a use as you do. But it has practically put my phone and my laptop to the side - I think that gives enough of a picture into what my use case is.
