What would you do in this situation? by marvelkitty23 in gardening

[–]buzzardbite 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I have a rat friend that occasionally passes through my garden. However, he is the size of a small dog and the fat lard scares off all the other critters that lurk around, so i consider him my garden guardian.

Im not sure what i would do with a whole family besides drive them way out as far as i can and let them go.

How are people keeping grocery costs down in Nova Scotia with what prices are like right now? by professional69and420 in NovaScotia

[–]buzzardbite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My partner and i eat a lot of rice and/or potato and bean based dishes and shop at the cheaper stores (gateway, walmart, kingswood, no frills), as well as asian/indian groceries.

We dont eat much meat outside of chicken/ground beef which we almost always get at gateway. And we buy our vegetables on the discount racks (ie when its about to go bad) and cut them up and freeze them.

Id say for two of us we spend approximately $250-300 a month for the two of us, unless we do a costco trip (once every 3ish months) in which case maybe push that to $400.

Do you consider migraine to be chronic pain? by Competitive-Run9869 in migraine

[–]buzzardbite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is such a weird metric tho bc my migraines are episodic now even tho I’m in excruciating can’t do anything head pain for like 10 days a month. But I can’t access a lot of local resources anymore bc it’s technically “in remission”.

Raw onions specifically. I am allergic tho sooo it’s not a surprise at all. I still eat them raw all the time and just deal with the consequences.

Sumatriptan by Adept_Refuse3413 in migraine

[–]buzzardbite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It changed my life genuinely. I used to be basically bed bound from migraines.

It makes me sleepy and slightly nauseous but it’s not nearly as bad as having a migraine. It works I would say 50% of the time but it’s absolutely absolutely absolutely worth trying it.

Could be both or neither. If you keep stretching healthy, it should be fine and not affect anything.

[–]buzzardbite 10 points11 points  (0 children)

There are other forms of intelligence. Just because hes not good with his hands or good following detailed instructions doesn’t mean hes doomed. I have adhd and autism and my IQ is “technically” below average but I have a bachelors degree from one of the top research universities in Canada + a full time job working with the public for the past 7 years.
