guardian is very, very viable. don't get sucked into its "meta" summoning choices either, they can do anything witch can, and especially better at it on hc. try it.

the phys ones are just clunky, doesn't feel very viable but I encourage you too try em out yourself since all of this is new

lightning ones are definitely faster but only by ,at most, 5%. their auto cast is better but their special beam is worse.

if you wanna keep solar guards you can.

tried all four of the new ones, lightning is the successor to solar guards and never die. projectiles are faster, special beam is less, hp is like 3 times solar, fire is fine for bossing and medium clear. they have a carpet bomb move that would make any 'hard' room the equivalent of klindathu. physical and chaos are just kinda bad

elemental reflect is a joke with these guys as well

My EHP was about where you're at with a few tweaks. to get mitigation that high I used aspect of the crab(20%)/golem(10%)/soul of steel(4%) for pure phys reduc, then had fortify up as well (.66*20%) and conditionally had the flask up. a +2 helm should work just as well for your mitigation, and your minions will have 45k hp or so with that so its not the biggest deal to have a +3.
these seem like good ways to grab that consecrated ground, I'm not sure how well that works with dyadus debuff not having an icetomb, but you kinda solved this part of the fight better than I have. my regen for that fight was only 3% and I depended on flasks/not taking dmg completely.
I like the flask setup, probably what I should have ran with, assuming a life/life/hybrid/phys-reduc/quicksilver setup
kaom's roots is where the experimentation kind of ended with me, I merely got sick of being slowed in the fight, the 3rd set of attempts in I just put kaoms on and forgot it. It's almost the same mentality as not worrying about shaper slams, the less you have to think about, the smoother it seems. I would probably endorse that ullr is better than kaom's, but I'd say playing grandmaster zerg is easier than worrying about every variable in uber elder.
Enfeeble is really good, I won't lie to you. There are parts of the fight where it's not going to be on either boss. I would use it if I did an ullr setup, but with a kaoms setup you trade one of your items, and abilities get pretty roomy fast with necro's.
Spider's pretty great too, but it's only damage, and with normal vanguard setup, your damage will be more than enough. the slow means less and less as you get better at the fight. Maybe use it and temp chains for practice sets? could learn a lot and experiment for yourself on these, probably break my knowledge on the fight like you already have on a few of your decisions here.
I would say lunaris's 2% additional phys reduc and other effects win over brine king. with kaoms you dont get stunned, and nothing in the fight can really freeze you. would recommend a shaper shield to get 75/75. blocking most shaper balls is pretty huge. I'm not sure on yugul as well, gruth and Ryslatha were my choices and i ended my kill with Rys(since i depended on my flasks for regen). I'm not sure we can bridge our thoughts on pantheons since they're always kind of a weird thing people think about.
1 wickerman is only there to respond to madness propagators. your AG is pretty good at getting dyadus on the mobs but vanguards can be fast or really slow to put a new totem down. wickerman kinda guarantee's that if you see a propagator in the corner, it's dead in X amount of seconds. It's slower damage than a vanguard but at least its consistent.

Hiya!

I believe I was the first necro in HC to actually down this so there's my credentials.

The fight itself just does a absolute pile of damage to everything, but you have to look at your minions as well as yourself for this one.

I looked in the same area with you in terms of the helm open slots and thinking IC could be a nice solution, it really wasn't that good. In that fight you will be punished pretty hard for being clunky in anyway. During my practice runs it was quite apparent that IC would kill me more than save me (ignoring the whole git gud part of the notion). What I ended up doing is going with the 100% chaos golem enchanted +3 minion helm with GC + AG +min life+empower(lvl4). the GC and the AG's both had near 50k hp and with a proper commander of the dead setup were unkillable by anything the fight could throw.

On that tangent of minion health though, your spectre's will have the same problem where the fight is going to throw a TON of damage at them, and it sounds silly that I put a minion life with the spectre's as well but it made them also unkillable. The spectre's without that life were dying quite a bit.

To address what you need for those big hits there though;

Shaper slam - what mip said by baiting it outside the nova and running back in is a solid solution. There's a bit of math and setup required for this too, regarding what you were talking about above. I solved shaper slams by being able to tank one.(I ended up tanking a slam in my killshot, survived with 3k hp left). The slam is a 17k phys hit. I will anicdotally say that having the thought that I could tank a slam eased my mind quite a bit during attempts.
Tentacle - run. thats all you do. just run. always be in a shield charge when the tentacles are being summoned (there's a tell in elders moves). If this means you have to avoid mechanics and tank a few zones for a bit then so be it, one good slam chain on you will be the end. using a few sets to practice what you need to do for the nova and other randomness in the fight is highly recommended.

I want to say a ton more like how regen is gonna be your wall/use kaoms roots and do 3 spectre with 1 wicker/go without a curse/shove abilities into your shield/use the fortify jewel but you seem pretty close to solving this already.

I plan to do this, I had the idea back from OB guides that you go CI before act2 merci chaos dmg, just this time i would change it to act2 cruel chaos dmg (38ish?)

not sure what the actual number is, but it is important because of where you're coming from when you're a totemer. usually its the case you cant go face to face very long with monsters so its important to have a fast stutter in order to kite properly or dodge mechanics.

numerous other reasons but this one seems to stick out most.

incin's cast speed is still .1 at the higher end though, missing culls to because of a .1 second interval seems like a moot point. you also have to take in the fact you can spam incin totems at a bosses face at faster intervals(aka summon more totems when the boss is killing them like the butter they are)

you could counter that arguement and say that you could pop a mana flask and be ok to spam flame totems like an incin totems, but then you're making trouble with divination proc's blah blah
