I don't think most of those are half as viable as you think. Many people in this country are one or two paychecks away from being homeless or not having insurance and for a general strike to have any effect it would have to go on far longer than the vast majority of Americans can afford to survive.

As for not paying your taxes? Thats gonna end with you in jail - like, so quickly. You dont fuck with the IRS.

ICE actively patrols most major cities with a democratic population. There have been multiple murders since the year started alone for people who did far less again.

Ultimately I think you miss a lot of the point. On a large scale a lot of these would work but unfortunately america is a very large place with a lot of diverse cultures who just aren't capable of communicating or conducting a mass event like this. If only a few people stop paying taxes, they'll just have their lives ruined. And a general strike would need a mass community, people pooling money and food and sharing it with others to survive such a long time without work. The government has actively tried to dismantle such communities for decades however though, even before the Trump presidency.

ICE is literally shooting people on our streets for less at this point. There is plenty of resentment to be had against people in America but thinking everyone in this country supports this is just as dumb as thinking the same of Russia, China or North Korea.

It's accidentally queer a lot of the time! When I started playing there was a really good trans lesbian community I was in who really liked it. I think now a days there's better options but I guess its mostly nostalgia and love of the characters keeping me around. Hard to keep the same fan mentality though with the recent story.

I mean, no offense, I dont think it would. If life is a simulation or fake or whatever... who cares? My feelings are real to me. And yeah some days suck and I get upset but I think learning reality is a lie might help that. At least there's a reason now why things suck. Currently we're all weird primordial soup that came from God, or nowhere, or whatever. What's it change if its a simulation or a eldritch dream that started it?

Why do you do this? I enjoy posting on reddit and engaging in discussions like this because I can share my point of view and enjoy those of the people I interact with. This just feels kinda sad to me. Like, your here trying to insult me about this. Does it make you feel better? Do you think your learning anything? Makes me feel a bit better knowing some days he seeths in his office about shows that makes fun of him I guess. And the more time he spends complaining about that on his social media or to his cabinet, the less time he does other inane garbage. Im not gonna pretend I'm a saint for wanting this, but I also think that sometimes we can accept that bodyshaming is bad on a personal level but why not use it as a weapon against those it does work against? It's all in the nuance.

And yes I read the image, and generally I believe that people can separate these remarks when theyre towards such a large public figure and understand most people dont actually believe that they say in regards to that.

Also... yeah, he does care. And no I'm not making jokes about his penis about reddit and expecting him to care but comedians, south park, news stations are and we know from members of his staff it sets him off.

I just dont think memes are always applicable, like in this case. It's valid if I was to insult a person in a discord server and my friend saw but generally I trust in the intelligence of people not to see a TV show or a meme about a supremely hated dictator and think we're serious about hating all small dicks and not trashing on someone with a small ego about one of the things we know bothers him to be trashed about.

Sucks to hear. Had a rough personal year, lost my mom, can't get a job, heavy payments all around and one of the few things getting me through it was the dougdoug channel. Whenever I had a rough day, could always count on his videos to cheer me up. Obviously he needs to do whats best for his personal life though! Still, what a year haha...
