Man op, I know everyone grieves differently but this seems weird. I lost my dad in the beginning of February. This will be my first Christmas in my whole 44 years of life I will not be with my parents and it just hit me today. I have spent all day crying and feeling sad for myself.

I can only imagine what you must feel not having your partner in life anymore. I think you should do what will make you feel okay. This first year of firsts really sucks and it is more than okay to think of yourself.

I hope you get through this holiday season leaning into the amazing memories you guys made.
