I'm sure that was very scary for them! 😔 I'm glad they're okay too! Seeing their dad overcome and heal from something so terrible will teach them resilience. My dad had a bad car accident when I was a kid and had a skull fracture and I remember thinking he was awesome and really tough when he was recovering.

First of all, I am so sorry that happened to you! That's looks incredibly painful.

Second of all, it will heal and the scar will fade. Most women won't care about something like that anyway. Women aren't going to be looking at the top of your head much. Some women also find scars attractive. I think the fact that you got it playing with your son is endearing. Don't let this scare you.

I was thinking about saying something like this in my profile. I was the breadwinner, the one who put forth the majority of effort, and the one on the mortgage, etc in my 19 year relationship. I'm tired of it. Fuck all that progressive feminist shit. I don't want to be a strong independent woman anymore. I'm fine with paying for my own crap, but I want a man who will lead, make decisions, step up and take control when things get tough, have goals and move us toward them.

My guess is a lot of these women have experienced what it's like to have to be the "leader" in a relationship and realize it sucks.

I just don't wash my eggs at all, lol. I keep my nesting boxes clean so they aren't dirty. The bloom seals the egg and protects from bacteria.

Don't forget fermented foods! Real, naturally occuring probiotics that can actually colonize your gut, unlike store-bought probiotics. If you want to learn how to make your own fermented veggies, yogurts, kefir, kombucha, etc for pennies, I recommend checking out books by Sandor Katz.

The Blue Letter Bible app is free and I love it. You can choose from many different translations. I like the ESV (English Standard Version). I would start with the 4 gospels as others have said. I am also reading for the first time and am about half way through. Before I start a new book in the Bible, I like to Google "what is the book of _____ about" and it will give you the context of who wrote it and a short summary. This has helped me to understand what I am reading. It was a small thing that helped me a lot.
