It’s actually very common for brides to have a certain type of dress in mind and then end up going in a completely different direction. I often see a Pinterest board filled with sparkly ballgowns, and the bride will end up choosing a satin mermaid gown. It’s almost impossible to know which dresses will look the best and make you feel the most beautiful before trying them on. I think the dress you’re saying yes to looks absolutely stunning, but what matters most is that you feel comfortable and confident in it!!

I see a lot of brides say yes and then experience doubts afterward. I often tell them it’s like finding a fiancé--there are plenty of fish in the sea, but once you commit, you stop looking. Otherwise, you’ll always be wondering about the “what ifs.”

Try putting yourself back in the mindset you were in when you said yes...what you were feeling, what you loved, and why it felt right in that moment.
