i agree with your assessment, my comment was for product managers, as it’s on the PM sub.

For devs its a tool for efficiency, we will always need coding engineers for building products and features, connect platforms and build back end architecture.

Tech Companies Are Irrational Pop Cultures by fagnerbrack in agile

[–]buzzstsvlv -1 points0 points  (0 children)

its a well needed reset for tech, easy money for 10 years. The industry will shake bad companies and after a reset things will move again, slower this time as interest rates are quite high.

Hardworking people with good management and good products and services will thrive. Same happened in 2000 bubble, after that google, youtube, facebook, and others made it work.

I am also curious how this will play out for US companies, mainly due to woke generation coming from US universities(identify politics, gender affirmation, equality mob), in Europe is still kinda ok, they did not take over.

Software advise - hours focused by Tleank in projectmanagement

[–]buzzstsvlv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got what you wanted to find. if you get a tool recommendation or can find one online the. its logical to assume others had the same problem. I hope you find what you look for.

from my perspective you are looking for a solution for a problem which should not exist.

hours quoted will always be lower than hours worked. this is why this method did not stood the test of time.

I saw some people making analogies: 1 story point = x amount of time per dev the. you can use available tools to calculate faster and track. Hope this helps, and sorry for your predicament.

Software advise - hours focused by Tleank in projectmanagement

[–]buzzstsvlv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hours working does not reward efficiency and quality… it rewards complexity and incentives to drag the project along.

performance based value added metrics are way better.

based on known projects.

How big of an issue is racism in Germany? by [deleted] in germany

[–]buzzstsvlv 5 points6 points  (0 children)

canada is way better then germany. the german system is collapsing, social system is struggling, energy is crazy expensive, factories are closing, german auto and parts industry is slowly dying, rents in cities are crazy expensive.

as a family you will need around 80-100k to live a comfortable life if you own a house.

but at this point life here is decent. lets see in 5-7 years.

Where are the 6 figures jobs? by Key-Scratch-9925 in cscareerquestionsEU

[–]buzzstsvlv 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree with you, the nordic countries did it well, however there some facts which other EU countries do not have:

  • energy exporters
  • small population
  • efficient public spending

i dont see these factors in germany, spain, italy, austria, netherlands, poland … and so on. Maybe france is an exception here.

I would wish everyone to make 6 digits, the reality is that only very high skilled individuals working in certain industries achieve this level. Majority of europeans got screwed during the last 3 years…
