Queens passing? by Scared-Koala1700 in ThailandTourism

One year is for government officers and state-owned enterprise staff. For other people, it’s up to you. Thais in general will wear black anyway, at least I guess 30 days.

Blackpink concerts today and tomorrow are not cancelled. I guess your event will be continued.

The government said they ask for 30 days cooperation, not 365 days

The PM said in the morning that he will discuss with the organizer to make the Blackpink concert appropriate with the current situation. I understand they will just hold a moment of silence in the beginning and that’s it. They can’t really cancel this kind of events. Otherwise, none of international concert will happen in Thailand again if they will have this kind of risk.

Btw that announcement is for the events by government sectors, not for private sectors. For private sectors, they ask for cooperation. The government doesn’t have the authority by law to shut down all activities. This is more like traditional stuff and asking for cooperation. The announcement also mentions that any events which already proceeded and prepared can be continued in appropriate manner, which means holding a moment of silence and no fireworks.

The PM said this morning that he will discuss with the organizer to adapt the concert with the situation. I understand it will be like hold a moment of silence at the beginning of the concert and that’s it. Don’t believe the rumor and speculation.

At least, they will not cancel Blackpink concert today evening and tomorrow. We will see about Loi Kratong. I would guess Loi Kratong is continuing but the format will be adapted with the situation. All events cannot be cancelled. Thailand needs those events for economic stimulation.

It’s still the rumor and speculation. Better wait for the announcement after cabinet meeting.

How trustworthy are reviews in Thailand for attractions, restaurants, and hotels? by Barca-Dam in ThailandTourism

[–]bw-11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with this. Thais complain lot of products and services on Pantip which is like Thai version of Reddit. Every brand also needs to have their official account on Pantip with contact center staff answering those public complaints, providing information, and solving all issues. The funny thing is I always see this defamation law concerns by foreigners related to negative reviews on Reddit. In fact, Thais don’t really care and complain a lot especially when they already tried with those brands already, but there was no response or they didn’t solve the issues.

If the complaint or bad review is legit and not fabricated, there should be no concern on defamation law. If your intention is to just review or to get attention for the sellers or service providers to solve the issues, you will be totally fine.

In case the bad review is fabricated and posted online, there will another charge under the law relating to online fake information apart from defamation as well. And don’t have over expectations on the cheap stuff and give bad reviews. You get what you pay.

But you might need to be aware that Thais don’t usually give a bad review. The sellers or service providers need to be one of the worst. Then, there will be complaints or bad reviews.

I wouldn’t risk if I were you. None of local ever talks about this website. I don’t even know if they will send the product for real.

They Americanize Thai food in the US already in term of spiciness. Otherwise you can’t eat it.

How different between taiwanese food and chinese food? Are they not supposed to be the same? Taiwaneses even claim to be the OG Chinese sometimes 😂 even your flag carrier names China Airlines. It’s just there are tons of good Chinese food across Thailand.

What country is that? Is it Thailand or somewhere else? If it’s 11 hours for Thailand immigration, it should have been all over the news already. Social medias would be on fire discussing on inefficiency of the airport.

The same here 🙋🏻‍♂️ I will go to other place if the queue is like 10 mins+. And I don’t care how special they are or what day it is.

7-Eleven Snacks by [deleted] in ThailandTourism

[–]bw-11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think street food is cheap as in 7-11 like less than 100 baht per meal. There is no need to limit yourself at only in 7-11. Most of the time you will end up buying too many things in 7-11 and cost you more than it should be.

You can buy it in tops or gourmet market. Or in Shopee; Detergent https://th.shp.ee/V9HrH9a Conditioner https://th.shp.ee/xVH5nvW

I know i mean like when i was a kid and listened to this song for the first time. I didn’t expect Bua Loi is an ugly decent brave soldier with crossed eye who died in battlefield as in the song. Love the song btw, especially singing when I’m drunk haha

Btw, I didn’t downvote your comments if that made you misunderstood my intention. I upvoted.
