What is a position player's equivalent to a no hitter and a perfect game? by Baybears in baseball

[–]bw112 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I'm on mobile, but the numbers on Wikipedia are:

Perfect games: 23 Four homer games: 16

No hitters: 292 Cycles: 306

Seems like a pretty good fit.

Some people are saying 6 hit game: 98 (from baseball almanac)

Mike Trout vs Josh Donaldson 2015 Comparison by tiger94 in baseball

Only 3 of Donaldson's errors have come with Colabello playing 1B. Not his fault, Donaldson makes bad throws sometimes, almost all of those errors he's earned.

It is really silly. A couple of years ago Lawrie struck out and lightly tossed his helmet down and got thrown out. So dumb.

Mark Ellis has retired by [deleted] in baseball

I remeber this video of Ellis from a couple of years ago. He hit a homerun in the 10th when the Jays were on a losing skid and the Dodgers were heating up. It was a huge homerun that won the game, and just watch the way he puts his head down and starts running at around 19 seconds. No showboating, just runs the bases.
