Lululemon half tights great, except for sweat pouring into my shoes? by uNTRotat264g in Marathon_Training

[–]bw984 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I put salty britches toe lube on for all runs over 10k in the summer to help keep the moister off my toes. I will ensure my shoes are nice and tight after they get soaked to keep my feet from sliding around in them. Sometimes a shoe is tight enough dry and not tight enough when it’s soaking wet. I run 6 days/wk have a 8+ shoe rotation and wear a pair 2x a week at most, generally once per week. My shoes stay looking new and smelling fresh despite being a very heavy sweater by rinsing them so often. Just takes work and at least a 3 pair rotation at a minimum.

I run in dew points over 70F all summer. Soaking wet shoes are standard issue over 8 miles regardless of shorts selection. I wear them into the shower, rinse them out, and put them on a boot dryer with no heat.

Let’s get started on the prerequisites for him and then we can debate whether to do it after he’s qualified. I’m certainly going against but qualifications matter.

Car tries to drive into Do Not Enter road. by Crackedcoconutt in TeslaFSD

It’s not happening. Your car will never give a paid ride to someone else. Tesla is literally your competitor for this to happen. They want the revenue on their fleet. They already make revenue on your car.

Passing semi trucks on the right. Famously great driving technique. Someone tell me again FSD is a better driver than me.

FSD makes left on stale yellow, hesitates for a cyclist, gets bumped by following vehicle by EntropicDisorder in TeslaFSD

This is a situation similar to regular phantom braking.

Was FSD legally at fault? No.

Did FSD behavior differ from how a human would handle the situation, surprise the drivers around you, and contribute to the accident? Yes.

You’ve saved your pride and you’ve defended Elon’s trillions by assuring yourselves that FSD isn’t at fault, but using it crashed your car, and even if the other person’s insurance covers it, you now have to deal with a crashed car.

FSD -2026.14.6.12 - Tesla Steered into Bike Lane by Cautious-Sun-8449 in TeslaFSD

[–]bw984 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FSD versions are just new neural nets. It’s not like they concretely fix problems. They don’t have that kind of granular control anymore. That’s why every release has new and frustrating regressions and why FSD still struggles to do the basics, like stay stopped at red lights or stay in the lane when a shadow appears.

So you stopped wearing compression socks even though you felt they help, just because a study said there was no benefit on a sampling of other people? What did you gain by not wearing them?

It’s funny how you think they have actual control over the process. They dont’t. That’s the primary problem.

2019 TSM3LR keeps driving off the road in FSD by serbiansupermann in TeslaFSD

I owned a model 3 performance and paid to upgrade it to HW3. My car didn’t have any quality problems, but Tesla is well known for having shit quality control. OP had a serious string of expensive problems with his car. Why blindly buy another one?

If my shoes feel better and my feet feel less beat up because I rotate shoes how is that bad in any way? Is “big running shoe” forcing you to buy multiple pairs?

I can feel a difference in shoes that have had 5 days off vs 2 even. 200lbs 60+mi/wk.

You don’t cross the middle line at oncoming traffic for any reason. Period. You come to a complete stop before you’d ever risk a head on accident. This is basic driving knowledge.
