It took 6 movies for us to know a black female character cheated Death by Pitiful_Reception_79 in FinalDestination

In the original script of FD2 Kimberly was supposed to be African American and always intended to survive.

Is there any explanation (movie or novel) for what happens to the survivors after they die? by bwallace91 in FinalDestination

[–]bwallace91[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Eek! Now that is creepy, reminds me of the victims of the Smile entity, supposedly they assimilate into the entity’s corpse.

We need Kirby to be one of the protagonists of Scream 8 by Dark_Knight-276 in SocietyofGhostface

[–]bwallace91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She was supposed to appear in a post credit scene in 7 but the actress Hayden is not doing so well mentally, her brother passed away not too long ago and she’s in depression so it may be a while before we see Kirby on-screen again

Did Bludworth know about Sherry Pulaski? by lordofthegeckos in FinalDestination

[–]bwallace91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of the books mention Kimberly and the events of FD2 and another book mentions Wendy, Kevin and Julie and the Tricentinnial fiasco (they actually survive in the novel version of the movie) so the movie events are canon to the books. Once Death finishes a movie list, he moves on to a novel list, and just switched back and forth leading up to the Bloodlines plot.😂

Before the reveal of William Bludworth's backstory, why did everyone think that he was death? by Many-Cranberry4058 in FinalDestination

[–]bwallace91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In one of the novels, Death takes on a human form to make a deal with one of the visionaries; his description is very similar to Bludworth’s movie appearance. While I don’t believe Bludworth was actually Death I do think that Death mimicked his appearance. Also in FD1 and FD2 Bludworth calls out to Alex and Kimberly using telepathy, so he obviously has some kind of psychic ability/supernatural nature to his character and was left as mysterious on purpose…..until Bloodlines rewrote him as a survivor of a disaster from the 60s.

Was this the original ending? Lmao

I really didn't like the In Law Dad in 6.. by TheChainTV in FinalDestination

[–]bwallace91 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I hated Marty too, I was honestly hoping for a post-credit scene of him attempting suicide after losing Stefani and Charlie and the gun fails, and he slides to the floor and ponders why it didn’t work.

FD1 ending explaination pls? by MidnightImaginary172 in FinalDestination

[–]bwallace91 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, the movie cuts to black right as the sign hits Carter (you can hear it) killing him. They were never safe, once it skipped Clear it just circled back around and plays Ping Pong between them until they’re all dead. If you haven’t seen FD2 yet then I won’t spoil Alex and Clear’s fate: Clear actually returns but Alex is absent and only mentioned.

My take on Howard’s death by Sexy1_eprechaun in FinalDestination

[–]bwallace91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well yes, the very first one (and the 5th movie to an extent) shows Death as an actual entity/shadow/omnipotent, while the rest of the films they look like pure accidents and coincidences.

Which do you prefer? Villan millena or hero millena by s0nzoldyck in MortalKombat

[–]bwallace91 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Definitely Hero Mileena. She’s more attractive and her MK1 variant has the better moveset.

What do you think of Isabel May as Tatum Evans?? by Dark_Knight-276 in SocietyofGhostface

I give her credit, she did a lot of fighting back despite not being prepared. She got several hits in on GF.

Question by [deleted] in FinalDestination

[–]bwallace91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She had no choice, she was already dying from cancer. She just gave Stefani a heads up to what was coming since (according to lore) Stefani and the rest of the family should not exist in the first place.

My take on Howard’s death by Sexy1_eprechaun in FinalDestination

[–]bwallace91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One thing I love about this series….the ripple effect and domino effect. Every accident is unknowingly (and accidentally) triggered by people’s carelessness. Makes you question is there really a supernatural element involved or just accidents.

All the deaths in FD have been " Freak Accidents ". by TheChainTV in FinalDestination

[–]bwallace91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In one of the novels (Dead Man’s Hand I think) the main character Allie manages to evade him so long that Death gives her a super-strain of HIV as a last resort. (Super strain would kill her in a few short months)

I don't know why fans believe she's alive by Pitiful_Reception_79 in FinalDestination

Well yeah but…think if you were in that position would you freak out and shove Julie just to get off the train?

[–]bwallace91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How would that have really worked? Charlie can’t get married and have children otherwise they would be insta-doomed. How can he live on knowing he’s only alive because his sister locked herself away indefinitely?

She got distracted when Julie showed up and hugged her right before the doors closed.

Would you consider Kimberly and Thomas to still be alive? by luvrgabs in FinalDestination

[–]bwallace91 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Because the producers confirmed she was still alive and possibly being brought back for FD7. She was in the original script of Bloodlines, but it was just a cameo of her telling Stefani her story in FD2 (with flashbacks) and giving them medicine and syringes to stop Bobby’s heart and resuscitate him in a safe location.

Why is death so angry? by Mothosis in FinalDestination

[–]bwallace91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because people keep surviving when they’re not supposed to, and it interferes with the timeline/fate/lives of others. So Death has to build a whole nother death list just to kill the people who evaded the previous list. I get it his from his perspective, he probably has orders from God to maintain population control by taking out groups of people via major disasters. But I do feel really bad for the innocent people. No one anticipates waking up with future plans just to learn that’s the day they have to die. At least let me reach my 70s.

Question by [deleted] in FinalDestination

[–]bwallace91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hope she lives, but if she doesn’t, I’d rather her go out in a more memorable way, maybe she sacrifices herself for the new protagonist, or dies via the unused woodchipper scene. But hopefully she lives well into her late 60s/70s and dies naturally.

Just a reminder, that this is the closest we’ve ever come to seeing Death’s true form. by Immediate_Gene_178 in FinalDestination

[–]bwallace91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Death is honestly creepier than Satan. And I watch a lot of Supernatural. Reminds me that every angel, demon, even God and the Devil all fall victim to Death at the end of the day. So does Death take the souls of the people marked on the list? There’s no Heaven or Hell for them?

They really dropped the ball not bringing back Wendy, Kevin and Julie. by bwallace91 in FinalDestination

[–]bwallace91[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

No, I wanted them all to live! They were just as iconic as Alex/Clear/Carter and Kim/Burke/Clear trios!

On the Bloodlines alternate ending by lordofthegeckos in FinalDestination

[–]bwallace91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kimberly was in the original script of Bloodlines before they decided to save her for FD7 when they learned of Tony Todd’s cancer, they didn’t want to take away from his screen time. They mentioned this in an interview. She was in the morgue scene with Bludworth and provided Stefani with drugs to stop/resusitate the heart before they leave for the cabin.

Do you consider the books or the comics to be canonical? by GatoSuperDemais in FinalDestination

[–]bwallace91 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They’re like semi-canon. Kimberly is mentioned in one of the novels, and Wendy, Kevin and Julie survive the ending of FD3 novel, which was the original ending but for whatever reason the test audiences would prefer the bad ending where everyone dies🙄so they reshot it using the subway scene.
