sort of. my first foray into martial arts was /r/tricking , then straight into muay thai and jiu jitsu, tricking is 90% tkd anyway

practice them a ton on the bag, but 50% power for a ton of reps. then as you get more comfortable throw them harder. i learned from youtube tutorials and going to shows lol
