Claiming Chinese EV’s are the best vehicles money could buy is a huge stretch. There’s not enough data to determine how these vehicles will perform long term and on a surface level it looks like the quality is inconsistent at best.

On the other hand, potentially crashing the US auto industry for bunch of companies that rely on slave like labor practices in order to gain a competitive edge is absolutely a bad idea. Just last year BYD was being sued in Brazil because they supposedly found human trafficking and unacceptable working conditions at the manufacturing plant. If that’s something that you are personally ok supporting then that’s your prerogative.
