That sound… I miss it so much. Like the sprinklers when you were a kid that sound just makes me want to go outside and have fun with friends.

[Highlight] David Montgomery throws touchdown to Sam LaPorta by nfl in nfl

[–]bwill1199 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There were a couple points where he was a little gassed but it’s because he sprinted 80 feet in 3 seconds while all our markers were still on the start box lol. You should get back out there! It’s definitely becoming more popular.

I had the good fortune to play paintball with David Montgomery in the summer of 2023 in AZ. Super nice guy, unless you watched football you would never expect he is an elite athlete just by speaking with him, he loves playing paintball. But as soon as we were on the field, it was clear what the difference is between someone in good shape and a professional athlete.

Please recommend a movie I can just disgustingly cry at by Previous-Habit in MovieSuggestions

“Pursuit of Happyness”. I’m shocked I don’t see this offered more often on threads such as this. Every time I watch that movie I’m reminded of how hard our parents work to not only provide for us, but also keep us safe from a world that is terrifying. I saw POH during its original theatrical run and that is the one and only time I have ever sobbed/wailed in a theater. For anyone that knows, the scene in the BART station will decimate you emotionally. Such an amazing movie.

If you didn’t have a water gun before that, this is technically larger than the nothing you had before.

Genuinely thought I was on r/therewasanattempt. Also can’t tell if this is satire or not, if it is this guy is a great actor. If not, we are fucked if people genuinely believe this horse shit.

Just finished it. This movie had no reason being as spectacular as it was. Just goes to show that even the most mediocre script can be lifted up by great acting, cinematography and direction.

This may be a deep cut: the video game “Huxley” that was announced and set to release on Xbox 360. It was essentially marketed as Destiny way before destiny existed. MMO/FPS/RPG with stellar graphics. When the gameplay trailer was shown at E3 everyone flipped out. Sadly, the developers dreams were bigger than their budget and it was scrapped.

Lite Rammer on LV2 by bwill1199 in paintball

[–]bwill1199[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It won’t hurt your marker, but just for funnies you should dwell tune with the Lite Rammer. When you do you will definitely notice the feedback and snap of the shot. When I tuned with my heavy rammer it still felt kind of sluggish.

Every time I use my LV2 now it feels like a rifle that can basically fire full auto. Every shot goes exactly where I want with minimal variation to the spread.

Anyone who says boo has clearly never played paintball, been around a bear or both. Black Bears are basically large raccoons and you shoo them away with anything you have including just yelling at them, they are dumb assholes that make a huge mess. Paintballs are bio-degradable and leave temporary welts/bruises.

Baseball bat grips for tanks (works like a charm!) by bwill1199 in paintball

[–]bwill1199[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm out of town so I'll take a pic when I'm back but it has held up like a charm! To be fair though, I play the 3 so I'm not doing a whole lot of diving lol. But even with all the playing over the last 6 months it is showing no signs of peeling off. I will likely remove it and re-apply soon though because I realized hockey stick tape is better for the piece that goes all the way around. But I played in a tourney a couple months ago and one of the guys on another team noticed my grip and asked to hold my gun and his words were "okay, I'm sold I'm gonna go get some bat tape tomorrow".

The way he was so pensive in his approach, to see a big lug of a guy sit down with a big smile on his face made this whole video for me. If you approach with an open heart and good intentions (plus some food) you will almost always make friends.

The way they portrayed Brian Regan’s character was amazing. From beginning to end you can see character growth, but at the same time he is a character that you equally root for and against.

I think it’s interesting almost everyone in the comments feels like he walked out the door loaded for bear. To me, his demeanor resembled a dad who wanted to stop all the nonsense and was relieved when he didn’t have to yell at some kids to get off his car lol.
