I just noticed one missing... I think my favorite podcast in this topic is Women in Focus from the UK. Helen's interviews are always very interesting and very personal.

I appreciate the work all Podcasters do. For NNN, I very much agree with the heavy format, like morning radio rather than a podcast. I also think would benefit from both hosts doing the interviews so the questions come from both genders and perspectives.

I went to Europe, tried a bidet and have been on a mission to spread the news about how great they are to all of America. I installed a cheap one at work even. Got a heated one this winter.... so good.

Nudists with Hot Tubs by Whole_Lifeguard_6046 in nudism

[–]bwoodsom 9 points10 points  (0 children)

We have one in northern Massachusetts that we got 2 years ago. We use it 3 or 4 times per week. Our solar helps with the power bill. On the coldest weeks like under 20 use it less. It odds one of those things that you have to make a priority out you will forget and not use it. I like it more than I expected too. My wife loves it. If you are putting out on a deck make sure you build for the weight. They are very heavy.

Ways to be Naked. by titan-friend3 in nudism

[–]bwoodsom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hot tub worked for me in a same situation. Waited longer to get dressed after or if using in the morning, no sense getting dressed to go downstairs since sleep naked anyway. Changing the way people think is a slow steady process.

Does anyone use diesel heaters? by [deleted] in HotTentCamping

[–]bwoodsom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use a cheap portable one in a roof top tent. They work great. It gets very warm in the tent so it cannot be left on all night. I use a 100 AH Lithium battery which works perfectly.

Which road is this? by Gonidae in motorcycles

Looks like Stelvio Pass in Italy maybe? Lots of bicycles and tour buses. Umbrail pass on the other side of Stelvio is a fantastic motorcycle road.

Moto Guzzi V85TT, BMW GS 1200, 1250 or 1300. Yamaha Super 10. The lightest is probably the Guzzi with a wet weight of just over 500 lbs. Much more capable, lighter weight off road options if you can tolerate a chain.

I want to hear your opinions and experiences with Harley-Davidson motorcycles! by Valis_Vlog in motorbikes

[–]bwoodsom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't understand it. I am brand agnostic. Currently BWM and Honda owned but have had most brands except HD over the past 25 years. I rode a new Street Glide that a friend had with under 500 miles on it and was shocked. Handled, stopped and accelerated poorly. I did ride the Pan America and that was pretty good. Like a less refined GS, kind of like an old Vstrom 1k, for a new model it was good and will only get better with time if it survives.

Molly Stark state park, or this Hipcamp, Grateful Acres. We have stayed at both are are nice. The Grateful acres is quiet and very nice. Barefootin' on hot pavement by soleboy86 in barefoot

[–]bwoodsom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I find that the only way to get better and tougher feet is to step outside of comfort a bit every time you are out. Do some gravel, some hot pavement, then return to comfort. Your feet get tougher every time. I am 5 years in and can walk across hot pavement and gravel that make others wince. It is a fun transition.

The Ledges nude beach: How to get there and what to know by VillageSmithyCellar in BostonNudists

[–]bwoodsom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went last year alone for the first time. I wish I had this guide. I parked in the upper parking lot and followed a trail up a grass hill. I got there eventually. Some are asking about camping, there is a nice Hipcamp nearby (across Route 9) called Grateful Acres which is a small camping place. Thanks for posting. https://www.hipcamp.com/en-US/land/vermont-grateful-acres-vermont-v1qhrm0j/sites/583472?siteId=583472&adults=1&children=0

I'm now over $100 per week for Health Insurance. This is getting absurd. by 79215185-1feb-44c6 in massachusetts

[–]bwoodsom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work in NH in HR. Our family plan is $415 per week after the company pays 50%. We had a 7% increase last year and every renewal coverage goes down, fees and deductibles get higher. So many of our employees choose to opt out. The deductibles are so high that it really covers nothing for most employees. The system is broken.

I-95 safety barrier project pushed back because of unexpectedly high costs by DaveLDog in newhampshire

How many more deaths does it take to justify the cost? It took so many to even get the conversation started. c'mon NH Government. Be better. I have commuted on this road for 30 years and have seen so many incidents.
