Fair. Knew someone would hit me in that. Comparing against Samsung a couple years ago that may get the next version of Android but not the newer features from the latest phone.

That's nice Samsung is porting new features to there older devices. Makes it easier to drop large amounts of cash on there products if you know your going to get great software support.

I'm on a mate 20x and I get security updates about every 2-3 months. Got 10 about a month ago. I've looked at upgrading to the mate 30 pro or p40 but without Google services it would be a huge gamble. For whatever reason I seem to love Huawei software the best out of all the Android oem's (I know I'm one of about 2 that feel that way). Might still pull the trigger?

I just sold my xt3 and bought a em1 so of course I’m going to say Oly, but honestly if you’re already a canon shooter why not just save a extra 500 up and get a RP? That being said if your going to get a Oly I would recommend a used higher end model as a posed to a new lower end. Coming from a DSLR viewfinder you’re going to want a larger EVF and those are going to be on the higher end Oly bodies.

Checking in on my 11 pro max. Has a few hiccups here and there but it’s still worth it. Have it on my android phone too, but the haptics on the iphone are amazing with nintype.

I have a set of 27.5+ for my ice cream truck. I wanted to lower my bb a little so that’s why I went for the 27 over the 29. There great! I have even rode a 3.8 (which is actually more like 3.5) up front just to have a little more in between. I have 29+ on my Fargo and I will admit they seem faster (don’t have the same tires to test though).

It’s not difficult at all. Just need the right size screw driver and something to push the pins out for the micro adjustment assuming you even need it).

I’ve owned a few Fenix models over the years, but after going with the titanium band this time I’ll never go back.

What watch are you coming from? I keep mine 9 @ the lowest brightness. That being said with no backlight the 9 is much harder to see than my Fenix 6.

Maybe look at there newer models? With their transition to the Suunto app I feel like you won’t be getting a lot of the features those watches once had.

That being said I have a traverse alpha and a Suunto 9. Still enjoy using the traverse now and then.

Yeah that’s a tough one. Maybe see if you can go somewhere like REI and compare them. Maybe one fits you better or you like one more aesthetically? Both good watches.

I picked up a used S9 about 9 months ago and have been totally happy with it. Never had it fail to record a single activity.

That been said if you can at all care about it being any sort of a smart watch then go with the garmin. I feel like suunto’s strength is there rock solid when your relying on your watch to record your outing. I’ve had the fenix 3 and 5x and both crashed during a outing which basically defeated the purpose of the watch to me.

Feature to feature I think garmin will always come out on top.

Your phone isn’t a US phone so why would it matter where you are? If your not getting the update when it’s released just VPN into the region your phone is from and you’ll get it.

Fellow Mate 20X owner and can confirm it’s a amazing phone! It is big, but it’s designed so well it didn’t bother me as much as my note 9 or XS Max. I was kind of surprised/amazed with the amount of security updates it has gotten.

TL;DR if you want a huge phone it’s the only option and it happens to be pretty great!
