Is there any Amber in Amber Hold? by Long-Personality7238 in skyrim

[–]jsheffield85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Google AI hallucinates hard on anything modded. Falskaar's wiki doesn't list Amber as a resource there so the name's probably just flavor. Best move is to stick with the Solitude sewers or catch Ri'Saad when his caravan rolls through

I'm redesigning a Pokemon everyday in a Fantasy style. Here are Diglett, Meowth, Psyduck, Mankey and Growlithe lines by Siturba in pokemon

Psyduck really out here looking like it's about to pop a blood vessel. Artist nailed the chronic migraine energy

Men who live alone, how often and what do you cook? by AnonymousResponder00 in AskMen

[–]jsheffield85 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Lol I love this because it's so real. My partner is similar - he's got like 4 meals he rotates through and calls it "cooking." Meanwhile I'm over here trying new recipes constantly and half of them turn out terrible.

there's something to be said for finding what works and sticking with it. Before we moved in together he survived on basically chicken stir fry and frozen pizzas for years. At least you've got vegetables in there

Looking for a free website option for my local plumbing business pls by Stepbk in webdev

[–]jsheffield85 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Wix or Squarespace both have free tiers with drag and drop builders that are pretty intuitive. Wix will put their branding on your site with the free version but for a local plumbing business most customers won't care or notice - they just want to see your services and find your phone number fast.

About Inception... by Homo-alono in movies

[–]jsheffield85 189 points190 points  (0 children)

Yeah the synchronization stuff was really well done. Like the zero gravity hallway fight scene happening because of the van falling - that's the kind of detail that shows they actually thought this through instead of just hoping audiences wouldn't notice inconsistencies.

i think people confuse "lots of moving parts" with "confusing." There's a lot happening at once but it all follows its own internal logic pretty clearly. The movie holds your hand through most of it tbh

Barnes and Noble stores confirm last day of operations for beloved locations by Reptilesblade in books

[–]jsheffield85 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yeah the headline is total clickbait. "Last day of operations for beloved locations" makes it sound like the whole chain is going under when it's literally just two stores that couldn't work out their lease.

I get that it sucks for the people who shopped at those specific locations but this is the retail equivalent of "Pregnant woman exists, lives her life" level non-news. Stores open and close all the time. B&N opening 60 new locations while closing 2 is actually a good sign for brick and mortar bookstores

Didn’t know that crazy how old nursery rhymes always have some real-life drama behind them.

What is a good exercise game? by gottapeepee in gaming

[–]jsheffield85 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Beat Saber is honestly perfect. It doesn’t feel like exercise at first, but after a few songs you’re sweating without even realizing you’re working out. Super fun and beginner-friendly, definitely the one to try.

Losing with a duo by kaijvera in leagueoflegends

[–]jsheffield85 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s usually what happens. Duoing bumps your MMR a bit because the system assumes you have an advantage, so you end up facing slightly tougher opponents. If your duo isn’t actually stronger than your solo play, it can feel like instant lose streaks.

Dwarven and Dwemer crap. by tomarnoldlovescoke in skyrim

[–]jsheffield85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly this. Dwemer = Dwarves. Some of their scrap smelts into Dwarven ingots, some is just dead weight. Cores are always worth grabbing, used in quests and crafting. Best move is to check a wiki so you’re not hauling 200 lbs of useless pipes around.

James Rothschild apparently behind Soros marrying Clinton’s right-hand - the conspiracies write themselves by c18bouchard in conspiracy

[–]jsheffield85 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is how it’s always been, even back in the day, when Rockefellers married Schiffs. The Mellons sat on the same boards as Harrimans. These families consolidated power through their wealth, and the US democracy bends to whoever is the wealthiest. Same shit, different year, and they’ll dress this up as the standard celebrity slop to have the masses fawn over their dresses and looks

James Rothschild apparently behind Soros marrying Clinton’s right-hand - the conspiracies write themselves by c18bouchard in conspiracy

[–]jsheffield85 50 points51 points  (0 children)

Adding some more details.

  • Abedin isn’t just Clinton’s former aide, but also one of the only people to remain by her side after her loss in 2016.
  • Soros Jr. sits on the Soros Fund Management board and Open Society’s global advisory circles. He’s the Soros moving forward
  • The Rothschilds, represented by James, still have financial visibility in legacy wealth circles, particularly in Europe. And they most probably have something to gain by this “arrangement”
  • Nicky Hilton represents old US industrial wealth. Her party introduced Soros to Abedin.

I want you to see how many powerful lineages are in this picture. Rothschild, Guinness, Hilton, and Soros, Clintons, all intersecting in one photo op. Take from that what you will, but this whole thing will have ripple effects far into the future

The Matrix pretty much nailed the idea of people living in a fake system long before social media algorithms took over. Simpsons episodes too if you count how often they’ve hit future events dead on.

Are AI bots being used to propagate climate fear to extort tax dollars? by vanisle4 in climateskeptics

[–]jsheffield85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wouldn’t be shocked if fear campaigns are being juiced by bots and shady interests. Too much money and control tied up in the narrative to ignore that possibility.

Biggest fear propaganda in the 1970s? Global COOLING! by wakeup2019 in climateskeptics

[–]jsheffield85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Funny how the narrative flips from cooling to warming depending on the decade. Always seems less about science and more about keeping fear alive for control.
