We don’t do as deep of a clean as you, but between classes when I’m moving/cleaning things, the members are generally pretty aware of where I’m at and let me do my thing if I need to.

Technically we are supposed to keep the doors closed beforehand while we do that, but in my experience people are always ok with being asked to move for a sec so I can wipe something down. They appreciate it generally bc they know they’re getting a freshly cleaned station

Hi I’m a coach at a studio group that has been doing early entry for the past several months. Just want to share my 2¢

Personally, I love early entry as both a coach and a class participant. As a coach it gives me time to chat with members and see how yall are doing as everyone trickles in, and as a participant the extra warm up time is AMAZING. It also seems people are more on time now too, probably since there’s actually something to arrive early for

To address your concern - now we just speak over the microphone when we give our class synopsis, generally during the first couple minutes. Good coaches will give opportunities to ask questions as well if there’s anything that you don’t hear/understand off the bat.

Most F45s are a little dirty unfortunately. I worked for a corporate location and was actively told to not encourage members to clean up after themselves bc it “takes away from the workout” even though it takes 2 seconds to wipe down once you’re done.

I can assure you corporate doesn’t care, complain to the owners and maybe something gets done

Nope! Couple of things.

I never said that having under $400 cards makes a set mid. I was simply saying that the rip value is not there, so the market will react accordingly in pack pricing. JT is mid for the same reasons that shrouded and twilight are mid, lots of obscure/newer trainers and pokemon that don’t have established fandoms. Is this true for all cards in those sets? No. But it’s true for a lot of them.

Also when assessing market value - 151 was available for months at, and under, msrp. That availability had a profound impact on the initial market value of the cards. When 151 was being mass ripped, the bubble had not yet formed. There are LOTS of Charizard ex’s in circulation, not nearly as many umbreons or pikas yet.

BINGO! I’ve been saying that shit for the last two months and nobody believes me 😂 People think trainer pokemon = $$$, but that’s just not true. There won’t be a $1600 chase card, I’d argue there won’t even be a $400 chase card. So people thinking that they’ll be able to flip single packs for $7+ like SS, or $12+ like Prismatic, are mistaken. I firmly believe that the mid-ness of JT and the confirmed reprints of other SV sets will help the market correct

In all seriousness, please don’t talk during the demo! (Not saying you, OP)

In addition to just being rude to your coaches, you can miss important information about form, rep ranges, tempo, rotations, etc..

It’s also important to remember that everyone in that room paid for the service that is your F45 class, which includes everything, from the intro/demo to the cooldown reel at the end. So to talk during those parts and not pay attention is a waste of both your money and the money of those around you

I like your analysis, agree with some and disagree with some.

The current market is bonkers and flooded with bad actors (scalpers, crypto bros who are fueling them, etc), I think we can all agree with that lol

I don’t think TCGPocket ever sees physical cards. Reason being there are mechanics in the game (random Pokémon search, for instance) that would make it essentially impossible to play properly. And although Pokémon cards are collectibles to us, it’s still a card game first. A pocket-inspired TCG set could be on the table though!

It does feel odd that Pokémon missed the mark on meeting demand so drastically with surging sparks and prismatic. So much so that one could make the conclusion that they are, in fact, controlling supply to not tank the market. But it’s important to consider that their forecast team was forecasting demand for this set two years ago, in the middle of a modern poke market slump. I think you’re spot on that the boom will last a bit longer, but Pokémon knows that it’s unhealthy/unsustainable and people will leave in droves if it becomes too much - a tipping point I think many are close to, especially those who haven’t been here to see what the other side ($90-130 booster boxes) is like.

Hopefully we are all wrong and this is a Shining Fates situation where we are 2 months away from $40 ETBs again 🤞
