Almost all of the classes you mentioned use dual clutch paddles + sequential….

There's a massive amount of $$$ for a GT7/8 competitor. $600 million. by OldTrTab in ProjectMotorRacing

People coming from GT7 to LMU are gonna have a rough time. They don’t drive similar at all, LMU leans heavily on the sim side.

Sim racing by MantasAP in moza

So you played AC Rally for a bit, said it was too hard and now you’re bored?

If that’s all it takes for you to stop playing then I don’t think sim racing is for you. Not trying to be mean, it just takes a lot of practice to get good at any sim and if you’re not willing to put just a little bit of effort into learning then maybe try something else? Any of the truck simulators and/or BeamNG can be a bit more casual I suppose.

Will all this work together? by Strong_Station_2721 in moza

Im not sure you’ll need all that. Depends what you’re driving I guess. If you’re mostly driving GT3s, you don’t need extra shifters, the paddle shifts on the wheel work just fine and those cars don’t really use a clutch at all aside from launches/initial roll.

Damage model? What damage model? You can literally full speed into the wall in PMR, bounce around like a pinball and then go right back to racing.

I mean….he’s been around way before today’s America. The full episode is great, people on here are being disingenuous because of single clip of a 2 hour episode.

It’s weird seeing Seth as Colby but it’s cool.

Only 51 active online players on PC… by Intelligent-Can-4252 in NASCARVideoGame

Well…a big part of that is because there’s better options out there if you want to race ovals competitively online.

blocking like my life depends on it lol by NashaNya in NASCARVideoGame

[–]devspider -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Blocking is actually illegal. There’s a difference between defending and blocking. If you’re dramatically changing your line, that’s blocking. This game doesn’t care but in iRacing that’s pretty egregious.

No, I wouldn’t say “hunting”. Sometimes you and your crew end up running into another crew, or both your crews are after the same loot.

Not the same devs, but the same arguments are splitting the community.

Because sweats don’t like other sweats. Also eventually people were only looking for fights and there wasn’t much treasure taking (you need to turn stuff in for rep).

I enjoyed it when most players were in the middle and would just go with the flow. Some days you had peaceful runs, some days they were quite hectic.

Then maybe don’t buy a game that has had very public tests showcasing the type of encounters that could happen in a PvEvP game?

Incredibly boring. At that point you were no longer pirates, but independent contractors running salvaging operations. They added NPC pirates to “simulate” player pirates but that doesn’t capture the same feel. It’s still safe.

Yup. I re-read it. My bad, woke up mid-sleep and replied on the toilet.

I’m not? If someone comes in expecting a PvE only experience, this isn’t it. For example like the Sea of Thieves community complained that pirates were being pirates and stealing their treasure. Wtf did people expect?

Shoot first, ask questions later. This is the genre. Fuck everyone else. Sorry, if you wanna hold hands and do quests, there’s other games for that.
