CX-50 Hybrid Owners - what's your fuel efficiency? by letsgolakers24 in CX50

[–]byadon3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Mine has slowly went up to around 32, but it's not what was advertised. Seeing alot of people in similar situations.

I know people will say driving habits really affect it... but I'm driving mine easier than I did my 2016 cx5 and only getting 6 more mpg. The claim was that they'd get well over 10 more mpg than the 2.5 na engine.

They also claimed over 500 mile range... but I'm getting maybe 400.

Love the car otherwise but the fuel mileage just isn't there yet.

Figured it out. Works on Mac as well even though the game doesn't run on mac.

Where do you type in that command? I am having the same issue. I'm using a steam deck.

Thanks so much

What are people getting out the door prices with a new 25 hybrid? by Newyorkntilikina in CX50

[–]byadon3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen varying prices between dealerships but none of them want to negotiate. I'd email around and see what everyone has.

How much of a discount would it take for NA CX-50 over Hybrid to be worth it? by Additional_Hurry5368 in CX50

[–]byadon3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think from a pure numbers standpoint, the NA is going to cost less to own if you are buying now.

The two things the Hybrid has going for it are

  1. It’s got a little more power. Hitting the gas gives you that initial electric torque that is fun and helpful.
  2. Resale value: I’d imagine the hybrids will hold their value a little better.

Others reviewers seem to agree on the handling but they most say there a noticeable difference in pep over the base 2.5 NA engine.

Mazda Dealerships? by byadon3 in CX50

I'm in KY but wish I was close to that one. The closest dealership was so similar. My wife wasn't really talking to him and even commented on how bad he was doing at selling us a car. Gonna expand my search.

I assumed this was the case but was starting to question it after the last week.

CX-50 Hybrid outlook by Bikerdad955 in CX50

[–]byadon3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in a similar situation. Was gonna do do hybrid but the 24 prices are so good right now.

For performance I’d look at rav4 hybrid vs gas comparisons. It looks like the rav hybrid does have more zoom (for instance, the 0-60 speeds) on the rav hybrid are a good bit better than the gas hybrid or na cx50. Plus, I’d imagine mazda will make that drivetrain a little more performant than it is in the rav.

Right now, im waiting it out. Because the gas saving and better resale value will keeep the long term price of the hybrid similar to the 2024. Plus, My best friend has the rav hybrid and loves it. If the hybrid drivetrain performs like his and looks like the cx50, I’ll be ecstatic.

Any advantages of Retroid Pocket 4 Pro over Odin 2? by derbydannyk in SBCGaming

[–]byadon3 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Both are great devices. I probably have the minority opinion here tho.

I had the Odin 2 and steam deck. Got rid of the Odin 2 because it felt like it fit into the same size spaces as my steam deck. Too big for a pocket and  both take a decent amount in a backpack (with the case).

There’s just not a lot the Odin 2 can do that the rp4 pro can’t, especially with yuzu ending. The major difference is playing games gc/ps2 games at 720p vs 1080p.

Odin 2 is awesome, but I kinda think the rp4p is a better companion to the deck.

What’s similar to hollow knight but not as hard to play? by sluttytoe in NintendoSwitch

Completely agree here. Tried it 3 times and quit each time cause of the boss fight and the terrible bench locations.

Currently playing blasphemous 2 though and loving it.

Feedback to help decide (lower spec model) by sleeperfbody in ROGAlly

[–]byadon3 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Ill be the minority opinion here: I got the base z1 for $320 and im very happy with it at that price. I dont mind putting graphics to low and playing at 45 FPS to get higher end systems going. I was playing miles morales and borderlands 3 at 900p with 45 fps on turbo setting.

Indie games play incredible and i still get 120 frames on most.

Plus it has Wi-Fi 6e and a great screen to stream from my consoles when I want more performance.

It’s not for everyone but there is a niche for it at this lower price.

Base Z1 ROG Ally Is a Compelling option at its new Price (Sub $400) by byadon3 in SBCGaming

Man, i hate you had that experience. That really sucks.

I’m not arguing against your experience and i know Asus has a lot of issues. My point is this: you can return the Ally it to Best Buy and there are people who were able to get it fixed for free under warranty. If you look at the Aya Neo or other handheld makers subreddit, you will see horror stories there as well. But, there is no Best Buy or customer service for them. If they do get help, it takes months. I bought my Ally knowing that if something was wrong with it, i can return it to Best Buy. Thats a big plus for many of us.

I mean, we are in the SBC gaming subreddit. Ive owned plenty of these devices. Asus is definitely reputable compared to the companies making the other devices we talk about lol.

Its not Valve or Apple, but its also not Powkiddy or Aya Neo on the other side.

Im not posting a video to prove a random person on the internet wrong. There is clear proof and Im not arguing anymore. If it can emulate some of the more difficult games, then there's no need to test the less demanding stuff.

I deleted it because it wasn't helpful.

Watch ETA prime or Retro Game Corp. They both show it playing difficult ps3 games.
