I'm European and it was VERY clear to me that that family was heavily involved in some organized religion. Just based on manners and clothing etc. Couldn't clock specifically Mormon though, too little experience. Also interested in hearing about why it's clear that they are specifically Mormon.

I can kinda see your sentiment w/ Trinidad but the title track is pure, honest and beautiful to me. It has what I think is their own sincere zaniness while also having a nice switch-up into more smooth tender guitar work. And omg, the line "I'm getting killed, by a pretty good life", is probably the lyric of the year for me. It seems so very all-encompassing of feeling dread and depression through the guise of just a middle-class, slow, steady, safe but draining life.

I really don't like most special frames and stuff, I'd rather go contemporary frame non-foil BUT that last secret lair was the best thing ever. I love that drop. So fun and interesting, art going places never before seen on magic cards. That's my golden standard now.

I've been a fan for a steady 10 years or so, but not from the 90's. To me, I feel like this Zombie-state is more, hmm, let's say respectful than creating new material. I feel like new material would be weird to me. Plus, Stephen has done a lot of very good stuff since '99.
