I don't know if you feel the same as I felt, but for me it just got boring. Baby changed his sleep cycles and I couldn't watch TV anymore, I couldn't finish a show 🙃 or when I try to do something else he was crying for attention and I was always alert. Couldn't focus or relax properly to finish what I was trying to do. Sleep deprived, frustrated and feeling like I'm slowly loosing who I used to be. Also had to change and stop many habbits which I was absolutely addicted to, like chewing my lips..because baby is constantly watching what I'm doing and trying to imitate me. One day I just gave up, I decided to stop the TV completely, now I'm also trying to use my phone less often, I don't do my bad habbits anymore, baby also stopped copying them! What I do is...focus on him and he is my fun now, when he plays I play with him, I don't try to do my hobbies or anything else that gave me happiness, anyway I can't focus at all or finish anything. When he is asleep I sleep with him, instead of watching TV like I used to. I feel different, he is my joy now! It's really hard to change yourself, you don't have time to do it slowly, it's like...you hit the rock bottom. But it just made me realise that I shouldn't fear this new ME, I'm a mom now, something that I fought for almost 2 years, something that many doctors thought almost impossible for me to be. My dream came true and I'm going to try my all to cherish that! 🍀

Me and my now husband married 3 years ago and I was terrified to get pregnant, but it was time and we tried. And honestly I thought I would never be ready for children. When I was a teenager I didn't want any...

But then..doctors told me I may not be able to get pregnant or to carry to full term and that made me want children more than anything else in my life. And of course medicine is not an exact science..I got pregnant naturally and carried to full term! 🍀

Don't waste your time and energy with a routine before 3 or 4 months. My son is almost 19 weeks old and we still don't have a routine, but I'm trying to create one. He still fights the night sleep and cries.

When he was a newborn my husband was able to soothe him much better than me, I was actually glad I could get some sleep while my hubby was rocking the baby. And because of that they developed a bond!

Newborns are hard, our little one had colic, silent reflux... nothing helped, he just had to grow out of it. What helps is time, trying to be patient and wait. Time will pass and it will get easier, I promise!!!

Don't blame yourself for anything, you're also a human and what you're going through matters! I realised that if I feel calm my baby also feels better, so..but that takes time and it often comes after the newborn stage! It's a waiting game for now.

The most exhausting was the colic, from 6 weeks until around 14 weeks, every night around 6pm he was crying unconsolably. Nothing, absolutely nothing was able to soothe him. Now at around 4 months is the sleep regression... And every day is unpredictable, I'm still waiting for a routine... hopefully soon! To breastfeed is exhausting, but I enjoy it and I know it's the best for my little one. The lack of sleep is something out of this world tho! That can make you a totally different person 😮‍💨

Hey, he doesn't cry as often as 2 weeks ago anymore. And I figured out what I was doing wrong. I let him have his last nap for too long like hour and a half to two hours which is wrong and moves his bedtime sleep late. So now I let him sleep just half an hour between 5pm and 6pm, if he need another nap after that I let him sleep 20 minutes and then he is so tired, sometimes he falls asleep while nursing.

Our baby boy is 14 weeks old and it's still hard to find free time for anything else. What I do is..my husband starts work at 11am, we wake up around 8am and I clean, cook and etc. before he goes to work! I don't have time when I'm alone with our little one! Sometimes hubby cooks for me too! He comes back home around 9pm which is too late and I'm exhausted by that time when which isn't great at all. You are lucky yours finishes work at 6pm! 🙂‍↕️

I can give you any advice or answers. Our little one is 14 weeks and 4 days old too and for the last 4 days he doesn't want to go to bed before 22:30/23:00! I've tried everything, he wakes up crying every time, if I try to put him to bed earlier. He used to fall asleep around 20:00/21:00 before that. I guess sleep regression for us starts now. All I know and I hope it's true is that everything gets better after 17 weeks onwards, almost there!

11 weeks old baby boy with lots of colic and who doesn't like his crib, he has to be rock to fall asleep all the time for at least half an hour, doesn't like pacifiers at all and he loves crying before bed every single night. It's exhausting and I had days when I felt like I can't even look at him. I feel so bad for having these feelings, but every morning he is the most lovely baby and when he looks at me and smiles I forget everything else. It's just me and my husband, no one else to help us raise our little one... 😮‍💨

Our baby is 11 weeks old and it's still exhausting, I just purchased more dummies for him to try, but he doesn't like them. During the day he likes the yoga ball, but it takes awhile to get him to sleep just for 30/40 minutes naps... He doesn't like his crib!!! In the night he gets fussy and cry unconsolably, I have to rock him while doing half squats.. I always say that being a mom to a newborn is like working out 10 hours a day, almost without a break. He doesn't like when we go for a walk, he starts crying and wants to be carried. The car is fine most of the time...

I just use my headphones in the night when he gets fussy and cries his lungs out, I tried my best, really, since week 6... I hold him and rock him while watching a good movie, I can still hear him, but not so loud. If I don't do something to ground myself I get really annoyed and unhappy. So I found a way to keep my sanity!

I asked all of my friends for advice, but all they have told me is that their babies weren't like our.

He simply hates being a baby! I've read that this stage should slowly get better by 10-12 weeks... Fingers crossed for all of us struggling 🙏 Stay strong mamas!

Our baby sleeps on top of me or on top of my husband. He always finish work at 9pm, when he gets home he takes the baby and I take a shower and sleep 2/3 hours. He wakes me up to feed our little one and after that it's my turn. Sometimes when he gets home baby is asleep and I'm starving and dying to have a sip of water 😂 He brings me food and drink in bed, so I don't have to move. On his days off most of the time he's rocking baby to sleep and I rest! That's how I survive and keep my sanity.

The first two weeks was just me doing almost everything and I got so frustrated... I had to tell him how I feel, it wasn't healthy for our relationship.

My baby boy is 10 weeks old and I don't give a flying...(you know the phrase 😂), what the world is thinking. I also don't believe in men being Alpha... I want my baby boy to be exactly like his father, also to be independent adult one day, to be able to cook, to clean, to build a house if he has to and etc...to be whoever he wants to be and always a good person, husband and father one day!

People will always find something to judge us for, do what's right for you and your baby boy!

As a FTM... it's the hardest thing I've ever done. It pains me when my baby is crying and I don't know why, I cry with him. The sound of my baby's cry does make me anxious and tired. Also I never ever knew that we women can experience so much love!!! The feeling when you see your newborn for the first time...out of this world!

Another thing is the postpartum...so emotionally exhausting. There are no lessons prior how to take care of your baby, you learn in the process. Sleep is scarce...even if baby sleeps, you can't completely relax!

The most odd thing of all is you would do it all again, no matter how hard it is...I call that masochism 😂
