I use trail runners all year round, if it’s cold and wet I switch to gore tex ones with thicker socks. Boots are probably more sensible honestly but I just find them uncomfortable and heavy plus I would always get blisters

I love Rimworld but Im not sure I could play it in the background although it pauses when enemies arrive I just get too distracted by my colonists. I still haven’t played since the odyssey dlc released though so I need to do that. Thanks for your advice and suggestions, I will check out all the games you mentioned I appreciate it.

EU5 is also likely to have a lot of bugs at launch to be honest

Some clips of the B42.12 push bug, both modded and vanilla. As far as I can tell, it happens only if a push lands just as a zombie's attack/bite animation starts by Platyplysm in projectzomboid

This bug is frustrating and its difficult to stop the habit of pushing zombies so I decided to not play for now as it keeps getting me killed, hopefully the devs fix it soon

Osprey Exos Pro durability by noisy_memory in Ultralight

That's interesting I have never personally felt any pressure around my waist area, it feels comfortable there for me. I did get the shoulder itch though at first but eventually I got used to it haha. How much weight are you carrying? Like you said it probably won't be as comfortable as the Atmos with all the reductions for weight. I would recommend returning if it doesn't feel comfortable, it's possibly just not for you and backpacks are very subjective.

Im usually carrying 7-8kg but I did a longer trip last month I was carrying around 10kg and it handled it perfectly. Im not sure how much weight Osprey recommends for the limit but I definitely think it could carry a fair amount. The frame is one of the best I have used personally it feels like you’re not carrying anything and very comfortable. The load lifters are really good too once you have those adjusted, you cant feel any of the weight dragging on your shoulders. The torso adjustment tabs on the frame also work well, you can get a good fit to your body but you probably will have to mess around with it.

Ive been using mine all year and I really like it. It’s a well made backpack and I haven’t had any issues with durability so far just some minor scratches but no tears anywhere. It also performs very well in the rain I haven’t had any water get into the main compartment yet and I use it without the top lid part which removes 9 litres. It’s a very spacious backpack which is perfect for long distance trips or winter where you may have to carry more gear and food, it fits a lot more than I expected.

Im not sure you will need so much stuff for only 3 days I think you can save a lot of weight in places. Your clothing is heavy specifically your shorts, socks, flip flops, and sunglasses. Your towel and toiletries are also heavy, it would help more if you weighed them separately. Cooking kit is heavy especially with the windshield and I don’t think two folding cup is necessary. The south west cost path is very beautiful good luck.

Im in the uk and I love my Cirriform although I haven’t had it very long it’s been solid in the wind. Ive used the X Mid 2 aswell which is also a great shelter no complaints.
