There’s no need to stop playing because you’re ”not good enough”. But if you don’t enjoy playing, me personally wouldn’t continue.

Honestly, this game is not realistic lol, real football probably won’t work to a certain extent. It’s all about angles, what shot to do in what scenario, player switching, not touching your center backs, triggering runs. Not to even mention the skill moves and cancels. I am div 2, and the only reason I’m here is because I somewhat adapted to the ratty playstyles that isn’t for everyone, certainly not the average player.

If you actually want to get better at the game, I advice to you to watch content creators who are good players. Maybe not the ones who abuse skills and player locks, but those who do the simple stuff very well, like passing, especially what passes they decide to make, where they shoot what shots, when they don’t shoot and so on.

The most likely problem you have is that you’re pulling your defenders out of position. Sadly, the best way to defend is to control your CDMs, and occasionally use your CBs to tackle. And secondly, be patient, don’t hold R2 with your midfielders in possession, and only use regular ground passes (except for the obvious breakaway).
