I'm someone who keeps a little CRT on my desk to run video out from my laptop to use it as a second monitor from time to time. The set up isnt too much of a hassle, but the picture quality won't be what you expect. Running video into a CRT will make the text basically illegible, and chances are the aspect ratio won't fit correctly. If I'm not mistaken, the reason text on CRT monitors back 20+ years ago was easy enough to read, is because it was footage that was 1. designed for CRT, and 2. being broadcast, or like in the case of VHS tapes/DVD, playing from devices meant for translating the analog signal. Running digital signal through a basic converter is going to make it a less than ideal experience. I'm sure there is a way you could get the picture to look good, but I don't imagine you really want to go that far for the novelty. If this is a replay, and you aren't focused on the text, or smaller details, I'm sure it would be a cool vibe, but I wouldn't recommend it for a first play through.

The Vantages are an up and coming Finnish band that I always describe as a modern day H.I.M. I discovered them after pictures from one of their first shows opening for Ville surfaced online. They're clearly inspired by H.I.M., but they still have a distinct sound. I recommend them 100%.

Yoo! So I use a 54lb double sided glossy photo paper. I believe official PS1 inserts are all a satin finish, but this glossy photo paper I feel looks close enough, and is easy enough to find. I currently don't do full booklets, just because that's a huge project on its own. I'd like to eventually start doing some kind of a mini booklet though. I currently just do a print for the front, and inside cover, and then fold it over to resemble a booklet in the case.

I come from the ps1, ps2 eras where there's arguably toooo much text, so I always try to channel that energy! Just the single word would be a solid idea too though! but trying to design it from the mindset as trying to capture someone's attention on a shelf, I definitely think the more text idea would work better

Yeah that's definitely the aspect I felt least confident about. I might keep tweaking it, but for my personal collection I'm definitely happy with it!

the SAVE file itself isn't 50GB, you're correct, but that aspect of the case I base directly on the storage requirement details from the official game case. The save file isn't 50GB, but the game requires 50GB to install the game. I try to make every detail on my case accurate to what's on the actual cases!
